because her producers worried that it could still affect her career, which is why they took it slowly. At first she'd mention Portia once in a blue moon, then if became much more often, then they began panning the camera towards her at times, then she'd be included in video segments till now when she could come on as a guest. Had Ellen gotten Portia on the show without doing everything else, some people might not have been really ready to watch it, but now she can do anything on the show :D

yes! ellen is the one who really showed me how big of a situation that animal rights have become, so I became vegetarian...my goal is to become vegan though! :) I'd feel really good about myself :)

ellen does talk about portia a lot more now than she did before. if you watched her show resently she showed a video of her and portia picking out a tree for christmas and since she just turned 50 portia surprised her by taking her on a trip and ellen showed a picture they took together holding on to each other.they look so cute and perfect together

something is change in Ellen, because now she often talk about Portia, or she starring with her, and it is so natural way for them ;) It's great. i wait so long for this! :D (i think i complicated a little bit my comment but normally i don't speak english so sorry :p )

I totally understand you, and agree. I think ellen was always a bit scary that when she is talking to much about her sexuality she would be 'punished' for that... that was the case with the fifth season of the ellen show... I think ellen does a great job and she's never been so populair like nowdays! Love her!
