Iv lived in Telford my whole life and there are loads of places like Sutton Hill in the town, its renowned for being a horrible, ruff area and its a shame, its a very ruff place and somthing needs to be done, but the goverment have forgoitten about the place, if you think this is bad you shouldve seen Woodside 6 yr ago! Good look convincing our goverment anyway mate, you know as well as i do it will be brushed under the carpet

hey i am 14 and have lived in sutton hill for 1 year now and i want to ask why are they showing this rubbish i will admit i have seen sutton hill at its worst but this makes it look like hell its a decent place and no one gives it credit wt about the kids point of view acording to all of u its hell not sorry to say it but its far from it stop focusing on the bads and start looking at the good things also this video was made after after a major gong issue i no thts nt an excuse but mayb a reason

i've lived in south telford for 8 years although i am originally from north telford sutton hill is one of the worst area in the town eventhough the others may look better due to housing developments around them, the council need to look deeper ito the area to find the real problems and actually go there at the worst time of day instead of when it's all nice and quiet.

Exactly Pete. I live on Sutton Hill and have done for years, I for one hope everyone remembers that John Franklyn is responsible the changes that are going to happen, he could be running for MP, if he can do this as a resident, he is the kind of MP we need.

I have lived on Sutton Hill for 25yrs+ I have seen the estate go from bad to worse over the years. Firstly the council have refused to address the main issues, their attitude is "Close your eyes and it might go away" and secondly the attitude of the private landlords who refuse to keep their properties in a resonable state, but why should they bother when the council doesn't? It was a sorry day for Telford when the TDC ceased to be. Let's do something now & make the councilors earn their crust.

Good job guy, I am also from Telford, Hollinswood, I have only lived here for about a year, and did'nt even know that such a place exsisted..Something need's doing for sure, U should post some posters in the area around town center, being sarcastic "Telford, Birthplace of Industry" with some accompanying pictures, Unless u live, work, or have family residing there, then u have no reason to go to Sutton Hill, More people need to know methinks, goodluck.

There is a residents meeting at the Community Centre on Tuesday 4th March starting at7pm to start consultation with Councillors + Officers of the council.

Whilst I will be there, I am not a resident and will not have the same insight as a resident.

I feel it is vital that the Council elect someone to represent them who lives in the area, someone who lives in Newport area or doesn't live in the borough will not know the issues.

Well done on what you have done and getting Sutton Hill the coverage it has needed for so so long.

Why has MP David Wright, Cllr Alan MacKenzie known what has been so wrong for so long, but chose to go about their everyday lives as though all is ok.

Gordon Brown should be asking questions of why his colleagues have let him and Telford down.

John Franklyn should receive a community award for having the courage to speak up and speak so loudly.

I agree completely.

In truth, Sutton Hill has been stitched up. When you look around the outside private housing, ponte verde for example, these on paper make the area seem better than it is. So when Gordon Brown and Caroline Flint look at it, all seems well, but that is on paper, hence the videos and them being sent to Gordon Brown. I for one will be keeping the pressure on.

People of the area should remember David Wright when he comes around with his bits of fancy paper. My only experince with him seemed to be a total waste of time, and I dont think hes worthy to represent the area. I asked him why was money being spent on other estates a couple of years ago and his sad answer was "Sutton Hill didn't have the social problems as other areas" . Surely a time now to give another party a try as he has totally failed. GB
