Being a center mid is not easy she has to control the whole field with boxxy and yes Lloyd didn't always make the right decisions at times but overall she is an amazing player. @scbaldwin13 you don't know the pressure of a PK. Especially at that time. if you didn't pay attention to the first 4 attempts at goal for the US were all close but missed. Carli was NOT the only one. Then at the PK's. I believe Carli missed but Boxxy was blocked true? So was Tobin. It's not all Carli. You cannot blame the whole loss on her. She is a dedicated woman and she was a GREAT choice to shoot for the PK's. No one better besides Abby in my opinion. Don't judge after one game. Ignorant.

@scbaldwin13. Actually carli Lloyd had played good in that game and the shots she took were amazing shots.. She just was unlucky.. Abby Wambach had a chance to score and she hit the post .. The whole team had great shots but they just couldn't get the shots on target.. I will say lloyds PK was awful but those times are tough and with the pressure on her she over thought it and wasn't relaxed causing the ball to go over

Carli Lloyd played horribly in the final. She kept trying to score for herself whenever she got near the 18 instead of trying to create better opportunities by passing it. And then on the PKs she completely missed the goal like an idiot. She totally disappointed me. Pia should never have had her take a PK.
