1. I don't understand what you are referring to as "PC".... Personal computer?... which makes no sense...

2. Mac didn't make that effect.... they just bought it from an independent company..

No. On the Mac, it is a screen saver effect. You just direct the screen saver options to a particular folder and it makes a screen saver mosaic of those photos.
