This arrangement is so beautiful, who is it composed or arranged by? You got some excellent voices there so you can do a lot with them dynamically. Job well done! Another thing that helps is an intimate connection with the text. The text is a belief, so you can use "This Little Light of mine" as word painting...think of the constant light or the behaviour of light and bring that texture through the voices.
What does that mean? "Body language" it was an undergraduate course early in the morning... and I was nervous as hell... first time conducting in front of one of the best collegiate conductors. Don't hate! :)
@alexfsu no way,are you serious? collegiate conductors and you a first-timer, I would be nervous too..good for you! just emphasize a bit more on your conducting :)
At the first may be you are begginer. For your degree at this time you should learn much about conducting technics. I reccommand you to start with position. Your hands position is not good at all. Second, you have to practise prepearing of the tone, sound and music. Third, you must learn auftakt system in conducting. I'm quite sure you'll do it.

I love unison arrangements! Especially with a choir of this level (haha even though it's a conducting class).

good song, good class. I could only recomend to make the "rebound" of the first beat... that makes it much better.

Does anyone have the Girl in Green's phone number? Would love to 'give it' to her proper! Thanx!

I believe this is a spiritual but this arrangement, I believe, is by Moses Hogan.

The song is "This Little Light of Mine" by Ken Berg--unison voicing with optional cello part.

Your beat is in some cases UNCLEAR. I agree with MaestroVNG...also your wrist is intense...it is impossible to conduct like this...WORK,WORK,WORK!!
