So there was luck involved. ELE--ATE-- could only be ELEVATED since ELEVATOR is spelled with an "O". There was only 1 plausible answer, it was based on knowledge not luck. There is no saying DANGLING ON AIR, so once again, there was only 1 plausible answer, not 2.
