To think that we were so evil and so messed up, there is no love greater than the love our Father God has for us. That His only Son would get brutally tortured in a way worse than what we can imagine, and take up everything that we have done wrong, just because he didn't want us to perish eternally even though we deserved to. the fact that He died on the cross was not the greates suffering..think of all the martyrs who gladly went to die for JESUS. The thing that was the worst about His death is that He was made sin, and that He had to be separated from His Father, because on that moment God's wrath fell upon Him...oh, that is terrible. The punishment we deserved, He took upon Himself. That is love. That is love it will take an eternity to understand.
