Like if you thought "Oh god that's such bullshit" at least 12 times during Braid. It's a pretty game, and often clever but I think some of the puzzles were pretentiously stupid.

Damn. I was stuck on this forever, never even tried reversing time while standing on that platform. Why would you even do that? This game is awesome, but it's really obtuse sometimes.

The first piece on this level was the last one i figured out in the game.. I didn't know you could change the speed on the rewind. Went through the whole game with out that knowledge

Wow, I spent 1/2 hr getting the 2nd piece, not understanding that the later platform lets you stand still and reverse time (doh). The way I did it is: jumping at the beginning into the path of the first platform, bringing that platform over from the right while backtracking to the spot of my jump, resuming with the platform going through me at the apex of the jump (you can pop out on top if you're high enough), and going up the left side to grab the key at the "earliest" possible moment.

I was actually one of the few who had trouble with the first piece and thought the second was easy. Awesome vid thanks. This game has some tricky puzzles.

ok i see what i'm missing, how do i rapid rewind?

While you hold down the shift button, press the down button again and again.

When you get to the end, you can also press the up button to go forward in time. :)

when i hod shift, if i press up/down the rewind just stops and sets back to normal :(

I was having this issue, too. I tried using the other shift key, the left one, and it worked fine. Try that.

10x! It worked that way... I almost completed it now... i hope i don't have to watch any other playthrough and do the puzzles myself. it's very cool game.. hope Braid 2 and The Witness will be launched soon.

If you're on the PC, you can rewind faster by pushing Down while holding shift. If you press UP, you can pause time (except for glowy stuff) which is very helpful later on.
