  • luv this song~

  • uhm, if this is the pinyin (pinyin is mandarin right?) version...what language is the jackie chan version (besides the verse in korean(?)). I know it isn't cantonese but what is it?

  • PinYin is the for of writing phonetics in China, It isnt really used as a written system but all Chinese children are taught how to speak using PinYin first before later learning the chinese characters, people studying chinese also first learn pinyin also and people from Taiwan hate it.

  • so what versions are there of this song? The original jackie chan version with that korean chick isn't in mandarin (since this is the mandarin one). I know jackie didnt sang in cantonese and i'm pretty sure it isn't hokkien. So what is it?

  • Jackie did sing it in mandarin and it proved to be very popular but many chinese had trouble with the korean part in the ktv rooms so an other version in madarin was written.

  • I agree, and that's probably how Su Nan and Han Hong's version of the song came out and many mainland Chinese preferred to sing it in Karaoke over Chan and Kim's version. However, in some cases, those who did sang the original by Chan/Kim replaced the Kim's chorus lines with Su Nan and Han Hong's line while some of the other part where Kim originally sang were cut out, thus leaving several gaps in the song, pretty pathetic in my opinion.

  • pinyin is the traslitteration of mandarin, which means that a chinese text it's written not by ideograms but by letters of the alphabeth...this version is sung by the two main actors of the film:jackie chan sings in mandarin and the girl sings in korean...there is an another version of two chinese singers, and they both sing in mandarine, but the lyrics are different...

  • sorry i got wrong...THIS is the version of the 2chinese singers...however jackie chan sings in mandarine, but the lyrics are different...

  • anyone know where i can download this version, i have the original with jackie but i also want this one.

  • can you do me a favor? I'm looking for jackie and kim hee seon version, coz mine one is not complete, some error so the song never finished playing, could you please send a complete one to me? if it's ok with you...thnx

  • Hopeless03, you can use baidu, then put the song: 美丽的神话 under the mp3. After that's done, just use the button: 试听. Enjoy~~~

  • thank you!

  • I love the mando version! But I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where to download it?

  • i think i prefer the version sang by jackie chan n the korean actress.

  • omg thank youuu i love this song so much but i dont no how to read chinese but i know pinyin :D :D :D and plus everywhere else is the jackie chan versian ^_^ thx

  • you are very welcome. This is the mandarin version with Su Nan and Han Hong- HH is a tibetan singer I believe, she's quite popular, also the song won an award in the Hong Kong Music Awards. (Just a bit of trivia to dazzle people at your next ktv party:))

  • wait this is mandarin....i thought its cantonese....then for ex. "wo ai ni" is it in man. or can.?

  • isn't it Sun Nan?

  • Me too! Well actually I read a bit of Chinese.

  • I've got headphones and I can hear it...just.

  • yeah, its grand for me today but when i uploaded it first it was super quiet, im not sure how to influence the volume. I used Windows Movie Maker to put it together and would definitely be interested if anyone has other software recommendations or tips. heres hoping that if you can hear it its synced properly for ya and is of some use/value:)

  • yeah its far too quiet on my computer anyway, i think maybe with headphones you might get to hear it a bit better, sorry, theres not much i can do about the volume at this point.
