Try making brush covers out of sticky notes or fabric to slip over the bristles and/or ferrel. It'll help your brushes keep their shape after you've washed them. It'll also help prevent nicks if you store them that way as well.

hey cheri, can you use bare escentuals brushes for stuff like a nars bronzer or blush?? also, can you use mac brushes for bare minerals like mineral veil? thanks :)

you can DEFINITELY use bare escentuals brushes with different brands! likewise with MAC brushes.

the funny thing is that some people actually PREFER mac brushes with bare minerals products, versus bare minerals brushes. a lot of people say that bare escentuals brushes are scratchier than mac brushes.

i notice this as well, but it's not so much that it bothers me. whatever works, right?
