I did not carry out anyother CNC cutting techniques. For the project which this was on it was too expensive to consider sending it to a firm to get it cut. In the end I ended up cutting the carbon fibre by hand with good old fashion hand tools. The Laser was a 120 watt.

Hey Ed; did you do any other tests as far as cutting methods? Water / diamond wheels / etc? Also, what was the wattage of the laser?

Great. Now the Empire will begin making their armor out of carbon fiber instead of ABS plastic. Thanks for making it harder for us Rebels to defeat them.
