Economic Stimulus 2008 package rebates checks IRS resources

Anyone else get a good laugh out of those silly IOU letters the IRS is sending out? The letters say "STIMULUS PAYMENT" in bold red letters on the envelope but when you open it, it's just a letter stating that your check is on the way. However, they may take money out of it if you owe them or what ever. Even though we don't I'm sure they will. Getting an IOU is sort of like a drunk friend who owes you money but won't pay up so he sends you an IOU. LOL Besides it's only $600- enough to buy gas?
