Oooo, haha, one of the worst games I worked on in my life. I had something like 20k for either music or sound effects. Couldn't fit both at the same time into the RAM left over for sound. I think working on this game almost put me off working in the games industry.
All of the music ended up being "chip-music" in the end, as best as I could, and we had enough sample memory for something like 8 sound effects.
I don't even have a copy of this stuff myself anymore.
You programmed this port? Do you know what happened to the advertised but never released IBM PC and Atari ST ports? They were mentioned in Mindscape promos along the Amiga version. Were they developed, at least?
This game was amazing, I use to spend hours playing at a friends house back in the day...like for 3 years or so we always played 2 players and lots of friends came over, it was the NES version. Years later I found out that there were Genesis and Amiga versions, I also played the double dragon one and it was pretty good but not as good as the first one, awesome moves, music and all...kinda hard though.
mindscape FUCKED THIS GAME OVER!!!

There's no music during gameplay in this version?

There is, but you have to turn out the sfx for it. It's either the music or the sound effects.

No - I did the music/sfx only. I have no idea what happened to the other versions. Maybe they were being worked on by an contractor or something...

@themadfiddler Well, you should proud of yourself. Music was the best thing in that version. This could be great game, but controls were horrible..

Oh god! This game was a nightmare to work - I had something like 40kb for each music track incl. the sound effects for each level! :(
