they don't need to pass a law it's already practically legal for a woman to hit a man; hitting a woman even in self defense is seen as wrong by society and that includes cops, judges and juries. Case in point, the lowest figure for male domestic violence victims I've seen is 30% but when was the last time a PSA delat with that? These adverts are funny because they say violence is wrong - which isn't going to change someone who needs telling - and against one gender only - absurd!

Echo Ometta in saying violence is wrong, against men or women, but it probably won't get through to the kind who thinks hitting a woman should give you life in prison (but not hitting a man i suspect). Not a fan of punishment for anything - what does it achieve except fulfil our lust for revenge, crime's a disease morality isn't the cure.

I love how men always complain about women who are in this situation and don't get out of it...and then there are men in abusive relationships where the women are the abusers...apply your own logic...if a woman is "stupid" for not leaving, then isn't the man "stupid" as well? and if you're so interested and involved in men being abused, why don't you go start a shelter for them? are you really doing something to help the cause, or just complaining on youtube videos about women?

@Katio888 Several shelters have been started for battered men, they're still ridiculed constantly. They don't really get government funding like the battered women's shelters do. Nobody who lives with domestic abuse is "stupid" for not getting away, because sometimes you can't. Everything wrong with abuse applies to both sexes, but men are ignored.
