  • it's simple... who would you want working for you someone clean and sober or someone stoned, drunk or hung over. No one wants their back being covered by someone who is not 100% there. Would you let a surgeon operate high? Even if he had just smoked a joint.... Not in a million years.

    That is NOT the job you want to go to work even the slightest bit impaired though. Maybe they all should take speed just so they are awake and alert, might reduce accidents. LOL

    B I went to great lengths to get educated thus not having the need for shift work.

  • the drug problem is every ware i worked in a small metal shop and 90% of the workers were on some form of drugs and the managment did not care if the parts got made it was all good . one of the guys even cut off 2 fingers in a metal saw the docs saved one but now he has to live like that for life

  • Substance abuse is sometimes self medication for underlying problems. eg depression. Good video.
