That is a very good point. There is no reason that Americans should be allowed into Mexico without a visa. One of the biggest problems in Mexico is the drug cartels. They are getting guns from the United States and it only helps fuel the corruption in Mexico. Not only can the lack of a visa be considered to be racial but it is one more tool that we and Mexico are denied of using to help stop the gun and money trafficking into that country.
@SpeedOfDark186Kmps that's an interesting point - would a stricter policy on entering Mexico cut down on cartel and other crimes in both Mexico and the USA?
@handrawnpictures I hardly think that it would be an end all solution. The problem will need to be addressed on many fronts. I do believe that it will at least limit the cartel to some degree. Being that organized crime is a network, anything that can disrupt that network would have to be a positive.
@SpeedOfDark186Kmps I am just curious, you mention "we" and Mexico, who is we? And you also mentioned racism, and this I am curious about because, if you mean Americans that is not racism. Americans come from different places around the world to include Mexico. The United States has no control over the entry restrictions or lack thereof into Mexico that is controlled by the Mexican government. So I am curious about the whole racism part.
@SpeedOfDark186Kmps I for one am not begrudging anyone to come to the US to make a better life for themselves and for their families, but the fact remains if you do it illegally you should be deported, REGARDLESS, of which country you migrate from. ILLEGAL is still ILLEGAL.
so what?
