Even though I wrote, sang and put together the song/video, I don't know how you would get a copy since I can't legally sell or distribute it. Obviously, I don't own the rights to any of the footage played in the background nor do I have permission from Paul Simon in terms of using his basic song melody when I wrote the parody of it. I don't know how guys like Weird Al obtains those rights. I guess the only suggestion I have is to share it by directing your friends here to watch. Thanks!

Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing but I do appreciate the comment. Ideally, I'd like to hook up with someone who's an expert at make-up/hair and costuming and incorporate the visual side to the voices. Take someone like Frank Caliendo- he's a great impersonator but his Dr. Phil or Pacino wouldn't be nearly as good if he didn't look the part. Anyway, thanks for listening, Avery.  Canada rocks!

Wow, some of these comments are way way too super-sensitive. Not a big fan of song parodies, but they are what they are and there's nothing really offensive about them. Seems the most important thing is knowing the song well and you obviously do as you've fit your lyrics pretty well.

Yea, I'd have to agree that I'm pretty familiar with this song, having sung the regular/original version countless times. I just got a little bored one day and started singing these alternative lyrics that popped into my head while practicing. Figured I'd throw it up here for a laugh.  I've got quite a few parodies that are too risque to post(ie, Losing my erection-parody of an REM song) so lately I've been sticking to standards. Thanks for your comments, jose.

I realize that Kodachrome is a type of film. This was just a type of song parody, where I substituted different words to make it into a song about people who get stoned. Weird Al Yankovick does it all the time and makes millions. Anyway, thanks for watching and for the comment. Stew

It's called a song parody, dude. And for the record, I'm a big fan of Paul Simon's tunes and certainly wasn't making fun of the artist or his significant contributions to popular music. Also, since you appear to have posted nothing original yourself, your own intellectual capacity is probably more like a 10yearoldboys and not 10dudes. Thanks, love. I was listening to Simon & Garfunkel's concert in Central Park with Paul acknowledging "all the guys who are selling loose joints" when I came up with the idea for this parody. Always liked singing Simon stuff so I'm hppy you thought I sounded like him. The Beatles are my absolute favorite band so I was glad I could also include them into the mix. :) Stew
