oh man, put two bowls outside this door, one with water and the other one with food so as for these poor strays to eat too. It won't cost you anything to keep a bowl out there with dry food....

I don't think they are strays, they've been around a while 6 months at least. I don;t want to encourage them, but if they do look like they need a feed, I would. They have been in next door to and they don't have a cat.

If they have been next door too and the neighbors do not have a cat, then this is a clear indication that they may be looking for food and they are not following any cat like in your case. So, there may be a chance that they are strays...i don't know...
