i think they use Mesa cabs, paul uses a peavey 5150 (dunno if he still does) head on stage, dustie uses a Mesa Dual rectifier roadster head on stage as well, but back in the studio i think dustie started using orange amps

and i heard with guitars theyre also packing PRS guitars

yeah prequel to the sequel is my fav track off of colors i think. the part where the guest vocals come in is so powerful and amazing. and this song is amazingly powerful too. but i watched an interview by btbam and they said that colors IS btbam but i love all their music.

this video's helped put a new interpretation on the song for me. everything appears so jaded and surreal from perspective of the central figure, seeming as if the boundaries of reality have become blurred for whatever reason. but he becomes resentful of possibly the only thing he can or could feel content alongside. it seems this attachement to reality is what he ultimately destroys. ironically i feel he makes a more constructive move by consciously embracing insanity.. or whatever. great song
