  • How do you below struggle with this game? It's pretty simple if you play smart, I suck at training and still win fights, if your fighter is weaker just stick and move 100% effective, and if you get lucky and get a bum who can't guard (like the guy I just faced) just hit him with the big guns till he is down

  • Dude me too, I used to be great on the ps1 ps2.. Im a grown up now and tried this.ps3 version..... and got my ass handed to me... regularly!.. WTF!

Every match seems to be a long drawn out ordeal.. long, tireing and boring, so I dont get it... Its like even silly matches are like the world championship.... why cant we have easier matches where we can have fun?

  • can't play this damn game =( waste of money for me. the last one i was good at but haven't played till now and can't do anything. training is really hard, no matter how many times i knock down the other fighter they still win. thanks for the video though, did better in the training after but still can't seem to do it properly.

  • Lol fool for the combos change your configuration of the controls to one of the ones that use buttons then just change it back

  • @MajaLeegKillas

This tutorial was made before fight night round 4 had button controls!

  • thanks man it really helped!

  • I'm being too lazy to pop in the game to figure this out...soooo, what's the song called again?

  • for the heavy bag combos just swing a lil faster n champion should be a breeze, i struggle with the heavy bag push

  • U need a better mic but a great vid nun the less (:

  • WTF! incredible

  • In the legacy mode there is no one unlocked. Klitschkos and Co you get only with an update/ addon package. Once installed you can fight them. At the beginning of your career (we are talking about a legacy) you have to chose, who u wann meet in your career as opponents or contenders... don't know, why u can't fight against Klitschkos. You can't fight' em of course, if you are not yet the same weight category or if you don't switch to their higher/ heavier one.

  • I got all belts. what next ? just keep fighting against them and thats it ? Iam also GOAT. end why in fight now lots of fighters are locked ? for example boxing embarrassing fagot brothers klitchko ?

  • @Skilledman89

??? How comes that ??? Why did you ask then before, where the training menu is and all that? How could you level up your fighter without trainings before or suddenly within one day and win all belts (what means all?) or the championship and become even a Greatest of all time at all? That doesn't make sense to me... Are you really talking about the legacy mode or you just fighting instant fights or else?

  • @bulamatadi01 Hi again :D

well first of all i play on amateur level. and i manage to finish game in one day. And yeah now i am fighting those fight now fights. :)

  • ... and is has a meaningless story mode - Because your fights don't affect the story anyway. The fighters are looking a bit more realistic, since they are not that much shining, they look more soft or tarnished - also just a matter of taste but no reason for me to pay twice as much as I had to pay a week ago for FN 4. Even me I've had in mind buy FNC, but at the end of all tests ( I have played the demo) and critical reviews I decided against FNC and for FN4. Just my point of view.

  • This could be helpful to someone, too: Start or restart a new legacy mode. Win the amateur boxing tournament. When the summary of the total numbers of your strokes in your last fight appears, press the "Circle" resp. "B" button to gain 5 points each added for stamina, heart and power. Repeat this procedure till you don't get any more upvaluation for stamina, heart and power - because of its maximum. ;-) That will help to avoid all those annoying bag-pushing and bag-combo-trainigs to come.

  • "Remember Fighters aren't born they are made!"

  • @1486NathanJC

It's true! If you did all trainings manually just to level your fighter up, you can really feel like you were in a real gym. But the more you will appreciate your wins. e.g. I use the fainted right cross as my signature. After I had leveled the right hand power up to 77% (by pushing the bag manually;-)) I knocked a contender out in the very first round by signature. It was so recompensing for prior hard trainings. And afterwards even awarded as the sensation of the year. :-)

  • I CANT NOT FIND WHERE I MUST GO TO START TRAINING: FUCKIN HATE ALL THAT OTHER SHIT WHAT IS ON THE WAY TO START SOMETHING:

  • @Skilledman89

Main Menü and there you go to your own corner? And then chose training. That's it.

  • @bulamatadi01 I'll try thanks man anyway.

  • Comment removed

  • @Skilledman89

Maybe I sent you a comment about how to push the bag - igbnore it, cause I've mistaken you with another user. But as for the trainingmode: I recommend you to switch off auto save, because if you will miss the champions scores in the legacy mode, you can repeat the training manually as often as necessary, till you got your full points to level up. You can switch off the auotsave mode under "My Corner" in the main menu and there it comes under "File Management" - Profile

  • @bulamatadi01 Wow thanks, today i'll try. :)

  • @Skilledman89

:-) But nevertheless you need to practise all techniques shown in the vid in the common training mode of the main menu (now you know: Your Corner - Training). Because it is way much easier to repeat the training there as often as its necessary to get familiar enough with it to be able to accomplish it mostly as a "champion". That's because it can become a bit annoying to restart the training in the legacy mode, cause you gotta reload again all the time, in case of you have failed.

  • @bulamatadi01 I know where to find all that. what iam interested in. is .......

    1. how to get tyson trunks (shorts) if its possible ...

    2. how to set if possible more cuts and blood.

    3. also how can i choose my guy from legasy to use in fight now. against CPU, or my father :D when we play against each other.

    THanks :)

  • Fuck! I didn't see my posted comments and sent it again and again and later I saw it umteen times posted... Something seems to be wrong while posting... so I had to delete it... So don't wonder if you read "deleted by bulamatadi".

  • @Skilledman89

    as for 2.):

Now you know, where to set both the game and the legacy mode? Both under Main Menu "My Corner" and Legacy "My Corner". But please note, it has nothing to do with one another. Your game settings in legacy can be differ from game settings under Main Menu! So go to My Corner - Settings - Gameplay Settings and notice "physical demage" or something like that. Set it to maximum! Then you will get and see all damages, cuts and swellings that are possible in the game to see.

  • @bulamatadi01 Wow thanks man, you realy help me . Thanks for wasting your time :) thumb up. and thanks again, now i start to understand something, BUT ... i'am about tu buy now this champion fight night. what just came out :) i hope its good.

  • @Skilledman89

It's not that good as fight night 4 is, as far it is about creative and clever fight tactics, cause the new version uses a bit cheaper fight system technology, easier to use (half auto blocking and stuff like that, no possibility to decide when to block and when not, easier knock outs instead of more carving it out strategically - so there is more less deepness of the fights). But the grafics are a bit more realistic - matter of taste - (mo' blood? ;-))

  • @bulamatadi01 oooh that is shame :( cuz i like bloking and all that stuff. since i am boxer mz self. i like to think and do everzthing by my self. >D but now it is like aim cheat in some shooting game >D

  • @Skilledman89

I guess then you are also more into realistic simulated fighting stuff, even when its way much harder to meet the challenges, but that is how it is in reality. Am a martial artist by myself ;-) I don't do the boxing thing actually, but I did it once. Why don't you download the demo and give it a try? Then you will see. Or watch some vids on YT. I don't like the look of FNC and the actions of the fighters are looking too robotic to me. FN4 is the best of all. It is said ;-) Its true

  • @bulamatadi01 I will think twice now buy it or not. maybe i will buy some of that ufc in stead

  • @Skilledman89

I wasn't completely right, when I said, you can't block in FNC, but it's at least half auto blocking nevertheless. Last night I defeated as a level 73 fighter a contender of level 93. I knocked him out at the end. But the path to my win was hard, cause I was all the time close to get knocked out. I've heard that "dingeling" several times. He was taller, heavier, almost perfect skilled but violable. To carve it out determinedly and a perfect scheduled fight lead to my superiority.

  • @Skilledman89

You really can find the clever way to fight, cause FN4 provides you the opportunity to decide, how exactly to fight, when to beat, how much, how often, how to block or to dodge and when and so on. Using clever tactics, like in real fights, where you wanna win by knock out, are way more possible than in FNC. E.g. just note the HUD of FNC. There u will miss one attribute of your fighter: the block bar. So it does no matter, how strong your block is. That's less realistic.

  • @Skilledman89

    3.):

Actually you can not. The guy from your legacy mode is another then the one you can have created in the main menu. But the other way around you can chose an already created boyer from the main menu, when you start the legacy mode the first time (or whan u restart another new career there). The most efficient way is, to create all kind of boxers you would like to use under main menu to import it from there into legacy mode, when you start a career there.

  • @Skilledman89

    still 3.):

Notice: After your career has started, you can't change your legacy guy anymore, just his accessoires and stuff, but not his appearance and above all, not his skills! So chose wise, what kind of signature/ special move you wanna use, which block technique, what kind of boxing style he is supposed to be and so on. Once it is set and the career starts, it will be so for the rest of the career and can never be changed. Skills you need to train. You can't set it anyway.

  • @Skilledman89

    still as for 3.):

The skills of the main menu guy(s) you have created, you can set manually by spreading the ammount of skill-points that you were given there. Even when you bring him into your legacy mode, his created skills will be adopted to a rooky level anyway. On the other hand you can adopt the skills of your main menu to legacy imported guy to the current skills of your legacy fighter, if you wanna use a fighter "like" you use in the legacy mode.

  • @Skilledman89

Just for the record: When I am talking about the "main menu" it doesn't mean the legacy-mode-my-corner-menu, but it means always the main menu of the game. There it is "another" My Corner" than in the legacy mode ;-) For instance you can't change your profile settings under the my-corner-menu in the legacy mode and even your controller-settings are different under main-menu-my-corner and legacy-mode-my-corner :-o

  • Does enyone play this game on online enymore?? If so then can we get some gameplay??

  • Is it possible to join tournaments in Fight Night Round 4 and win belts?

  • and your fucking left arm?

  • This guy sucks

  • Can someone please tell me how to do the step slip that i always see the computer do. I've been tryin to figure out how to do it but i have nooo idea. Its the move where you slip while your stepping forward (i think you can do it backwards also). Nyone who knows how to do it please share i would appreciate it alot haha.

  • @GodsMafiiaMan

I don't know exactly, what you mean with the "step slip" - but maybe you've meant this one: Just flick the left stick sevreal times to move faster in any direction. At least it looks like a "step slip" then. Try it and tell, if it was what you were looking for...

  • @bulamatadi01 oh thanks man i appreciate it but i figure out already. im talkin bout that slip move where u curve the movement stick in a quarter circle motion n the fighter ducks n steps forward at the same time. sucks that after 2 months pple wanna talk smack on the internet to each other but some1 makes a comment askin for help and no1 has anythin to say so i really appreciate it dude

  • Comment removed

  • Auf dieses Video antworten...

Ok, dude, ;-) your welcome. I've thought, it could help anyone out of a fix anyhow... better late than never. In a quarter circle from the top down to... or how do you do that?

  • @bulamatadi01 what do the first 4 words u say mean? i completely agree, better late than never thas why i appreciate it haha. u push the movement stick downward and then curve it forward. if u do it correctly u should see your boxer step forward and duck at the same time.

  • @GodsMafiiaMan

Yep, I got it, I know now what you were asking for. Once I saw that movement in a promo video with the explanation how to do it, but I use it very rarely.

  • @bulamatadi01 same here

  • IM gonna be honest this game is to mother FUCKING hard waaaay to hard!!!! Its not even fun fight night round 3 was really fun cuz i could actually get like high points on the training on FN3 but in FN4 i cant even fuckin get more than 2points on everything on all the training when a game is that fuckin hard its umm oh i dunno NO FUCKIN FUN

  • thanks man

  • thank you menn thats was so helful

  • you have to download it like on xbox you need to go to game ad ons and download it then you can get the buttons

  • heavy bag push is very hard :c

  • how do you configure for buttons??? been trying for ages! didnt think it was an option?

i only have 4 config. for control, and i see someone mentioning 5?!!?

  • how do you configure for buttons??? been trying for ages! didnt think it was an option?

  • thanks alot for this

  • thanks

  • for the heavy bag can you just use the buttons or do you have to use the heavy bag?

  • @dying2l what?

  • the trainings pretty easy really and they give you ways to cheat, like for staying on your feet all you have to do is put the speed up, and power way down before you train and you can basically throw a bunch of jabs without being knocked down ever.

And on the heavy bag push just put the power settings all the way up and speed settings up as well and you can just throw straights and the bag will get pushed all the way, as well as when you miss it wont come back at you so hard

  • can anyone help me get 5 KO's online? my gamertag is DaySneyk add me on xbox live if you're interested. ill help you out with what you need as well

  • config 5 helps tremendously with the heavy bag combos.. just hit the buttons it tells you to hit.

  • hey how cum u can only train once every fight or can u (help plzz)

  • @SAExGRAFFITIx4EVER95 leave more time in between fights.

  • Good advice, but please consider dropping the music down for when you speak, as it was difficult to follow on a laptop speaker. Thanks for posting...will give me a good chance of being more than a "Bum" rating

  • thanks man!

  • i got champ first time on them combo things lol, shit at all the others except sparring though.

  • my highest on sparring is 113,450 with mike tyson

  • Nice, you did pretty good on sparring, ive gotten 75,520 on my feather weight one, knocked him out well over 5 times and got 3 lights out.

  • maize bag definitely the easiet i score over 32 000 on that one with sonny liston

  • this sucks you must play in amateur because i play in champion mode and the way to win open sparring is stick and move and not staying toe to toe but then again isee this video was released like a year ago i probably wouldn't have done better at that time

  • thanks bro

  • This is a retarted tutorial

  • the character u made seems better as an outside fighter insted of a inside boxer

  • if u play on a high diifficulty u cant do that in sparring

  • this helped me out a lot. i was doing everything wrong to the point were i didn't even try and used the auto-train feature.

  • Comment removed

  • @JEDWARDareNO1 i could tell you what you are doing wrong but since its been over a month you have probably figured it out by now =)

  • @0dignity69

yeah I did, i ended up winning all titles in welterweight, middleweight and light heavyweight ( i was declining too much to go into the heavyweight) but thank you anyway :)

  • When I train to a personage in the way legend, it(he) does not raise me in the play now, can come near to 100 of average in the play now?

  • can you change pad configuration like from stick to buttons??

  • Word of advice.... this game is not like riding a bike lol.... I had an undefeated player, put the game down for about two or three weeks, and got my ass handed to me four times in a row once I started playing again.... life is hard

  • '' Im gonna bite your ear off '' thumbs down for that

  • my kind of game.. i do boxing myself so this game is the shit...

  • The combos are easier to do if you hold the controller upright about chin height and out so that you can see it w/ your peripherals. I have been able to get Champion multiple times with this technique.

  • good video. thank you

  • thank you so much

  • thanks man this help'd me

  • you mean boxing!!!

  • omg i dont know why i suck at this game im good at mw2,cod4,exept this game wow

  • @roketmantheshow

well my friend its simple, MW2 & cd4 are both games that require no skill wht so ever, also its different because FNR4 is a sports game & call of duty(s) is FPS games, common sense my friend

  • @Khokharkills You are reatarded! FPS games require more hand/eye co-ordination than any other game!

  • @IR1SHdude --LOL wow ok u go ahead & believe that genius u must really think tht games as bad as MW2 require skill, Ha i win :-)

  • nice video

i completely agree heavy combo bag is the hardest i guess it just takes alot of practice but besides that one all the rest arent that hard.

  • wats the green bar for?

  • you play in easy !!

  • with the maise bag, if you want an amazing score, you can actually slip the bag 3 times instead of just twice, this is good when you get high numbers like 7+

  • i find heavy bag combo the easiest, just gotta do it quite fast and you can afford 2- to 3 slip ups if you're doing it fast

  • thanx heapz uce u tha man g!

  • Thanks ever so much, surprisingly the hardest i found at first was the maize bag! lol

i though you had to actually punch the bag, no more auto-mating needed

Good effort on combo bag (cannot even get what you got)

    thanks again

  • The guys you are fighting look piss poor. What level are you on. Some of the guys I spar against I can hardly hit.

  • why no speed bag dis game

  • I think for the combo bag, just practicing it and doing it over and over again will help out, for me this is one of the easier training games, but its really just the more you do it, i'm pretty quick with the combos now so i can get up to the 5 combinations and like he said, once you get it to 5 punch combos, just keep it there without missing and the points just multiply

  • @eddygordenze Do you mean for the PC, or for a console?

  • Lol, you did good sparring, I've knocked a guy out 3x on heavyweight, 52,634 points

  • if you really want to reach a high score in heavy bag combos you need to change controler configuration, where punches are dedicated to buttons, not to right stick, otherwise its almost impossible to get champion level

  • @prorok21 OFCOURSE THANK YOU SO MUCH IM SUCH AN IDIOT

  • haha

  • No it isn't. It just takes practice.

  • @prorok21 how do you change the controls, I can't seem to find it!

  • @prorok21 I have a ps3

  • you just have to hit them quicker and u'll get Champion, like u hit them one after the other without stopping it's pretty easy if u practice

  • yup, that is I think the only way to achieve champion level on the combos. The right stick just isn't that consistent

  • @prorok21 Im sure that's not even possible on round 4.....

  • Comment removed

  • ty. mn that very helped to me!!! 5/5 + subs

  • turn up your boxers settings and not cpu then train 3 times before every fight that should fix anyones p[roblem with fight night

  • you have to schedule your fights further apart, to get 3 training sessions your fights have to be 6 months apart

  • thanks man. this is AWESOME.

  • Thank You.....

  • I suck at all of them lol. i usually end up getting like 1 exp in career. especially on the heavy bag push. BUT im still undefeated

  • @nando18224 i bet ur playing on amateur....right??

  • @grunt616

Nope pro. but im not undefeted anymore

  • @nando18824 i hate the training things......im trying to beat in in G.O.A.T. difficulty, i am stuck on champion, and i am lost 5 matches by way of decision

  • @nando18224 undefeated yah in amateur i nailed all the training games in champion mode even with that i lost a fight in career mode

  • @MrIronval Like i replied to the other guy, no, i was playing on pro and in am not undefeated anymore. its impossible once you get to the guys that are in the 90's and your guy is low level.

  • @nando18224 actually i was playing in pro mode and i was undefeated even with an overall of 83 i was beating over 90 guys on points that's wheni switched to champion mode and suffered my first defeat i think pro mode is too easy champion is more challenging

  • @MrIronval Yea i sucked at training so hard i was still in the 70s lol. I could still win but not without losing every now and then. i dont play that much anymore anyway.

  • @nando18224 i get it fighting with a 70 overall against 92 guys is like being a lightweight sparring with tyson you spend more time on the canvas counting the blood stains you left on the floor than anything else if you play on ps3 and if you play online let me know so we can rumble young man rumble

  • @MrIronval add me up jswizzle10

  • lol i am gonna bit your ear off

  • Omg back of when u get low stamina

  • what boxing style was your boxer in this?

  • awesome job man. much appreciated.

  • great vid, I just got the game because I love the TPC, however 4 is quite different and its taking me a bit to get use to..(no parry).

note: nice to have background music but it may have been a touch loud, at some points it was almost difficult to hear you.

  • Does it really get harder as you go on, or just as long as u play on baby mode, or amature, ur garenteed every win? I'm just guessing cause in every other EA Sports game you can win every game on baby mode by a shitload so idk if boxing is any different. can someone please tell me.

  • If you auto-train..is there much of a difference in result compared to manual training?

  • @gnail Double the points if you can finish it good in manual

  • now i come to think of it..this heavy bag push is fucking shit..what is that got to do with improvin..atleast have something relevant in there like skippin..these trainin games are fuckin shit as usual

  • thanks alot!! the tips you gave on the heavy bag combo (havent watched the others yet) for low punches really helped alot and ive got my first ever champion at the first time of asking!! thanks so much

  • can someone help me....i try to make my one boxer(in legacy)and when i pres done, says that i have to"Apply changes and continue to legacy mode Discard changes and return to previous screen",how i do that?i don't see no next or something:((pols help

  • You have to press up or down on the thumbstick and it will highlight the "apply changes" or "discard changes" or "Cancel". That threw me off as well when I saw it. It's partly the fault of the small text. A lot of video games have really small text is seems which is almost impossible to read even though I have really pretty good vision.

  • Thnx dude:)

  • I remember i commented on this video a while back and i remember wailing at the top of my lungs, "I WANNT THIS GAMME" Then i got it yesterday, The trainings fucking DESTROYED ME. Most of all is the double end, the push, and the heavy bag combos. Most of all was the Maze. HOWEVER, i got champ this morning after 45 minutes of intense cursing, and figuring out i could get 2 dodges infront of the bag, and two as it comes behind me. But my finger is so busted now :(

  • smashed the living shit out of him in sparring ! : )

  • i hate the heavy bag push, double end bag and maize bag.. i just use auto-train.. hahahhaha

  • everything is hella easy on bum mode

  • this looks like its on bum mode

  • how do you create an in fighter boxer here? , you know like makonouchi ippo

  • sparring is the easiest training

  • the worst enemy her for me is a counter puncher type, that type of boxer is so freaking ANNOYING, i meam, he really waits for me to punch first. I stood there, right in front of him and he just guards. It was so pissing me off that i started shouting and cursing, i'm pretty quite when i play. And because he's an AI, he almost always knows when to block. Any tips on how to KO a boxer like him? I always win via decision but that's not enough for me, i wanna knock his smug face. And he always runs,

  • Use it against him,he cant guard everything at once, figure out HOW someone counter punches, throw a punch to get him to react and then capitalize.

  • Yeah, same thing here... it's kind of annoying and it makes me wish you could really feint punches or use a jab to push aside a guard like in actual boxing. The only strategy is to really begin practicing counterpunching yourself, play a few extra fights routine where you concentrate on reading your opponent and countering his moves and punches.

  • it'll be bloody to read your opponet while you're already in a fight with him, in real boxing, you get to study him by watching his fight vids, that would be a gread addition to this game, scouting reports and also training should be freestyled, i mean, train whenever you want, not just before a fight and not just train 1 part at a time.

  • Well, after having played this for a while it's come down to almost all counterpunching which is making things a bit less fun. In the beginning of your career you can button-mash a bit and still early on bang it out with your opponents. After ten or so fights though you get guys who would tear you apart if you fight wild.

Now when I play I don't really move around but just watch the opponent for ever flicker of movement to counter or perform perfect blocks and counters. Kind of robotic now.

  • yeah i know, kinda sucks, it's still a good game playing with friends but making a legacy boxer, they sure did a pretty good 'bout making this game almost as hard as the real thing. It kinda takes away all the fun when they're too real.
