Man people must not know how easy it is just to take a midi, drop it in FL studios and add a drum loop...I'm not trying to be mean but each of these must have only taken like 20 minutes right (I hope)?
@LedgerLines I don't MIDI rip.. this song is old...and no it did not take 20 minutes. Transposing a song by ear usually takes an hour depending on length. however i will say that when i made this song i had the demo version of FL studio so i was usually forced to finish fast because i couldn't save that's most likely what lead to this bare bones remix.
@VGMusicMaker hmm alright, sorry to seem accusatory. I also don't midi rip, I think you lose a lot of experience when you don't learn every song by ear. I'm a hardware guy, so that's probably the main reason I learn everything by ear, but you're definitely in the minority if you actually don't midi rip and you primarily use a DAW.
@LedgerLines depends really. I take longer on my music because im limited on cakewalk but i like it better because i can extra play the piano. Fl studio is somewhat easy but in no way does it take 20 min. Most music making when you make a quality production takes hours.
