I want to open up my own business but even loans and grants are being given out to entrepreneurs anymore..especially if unemployment is all you got behind you... No one wants to hire someone like me no matter how persistent i am simply because i was laid off.. Im staying positive tho for now. thanx

Being laid off is hard! Even with Severance! What I find so madding is when you get interviews, good interviews and you are told they will let you know one way or another by a certain date. And you guessed it they never contact me! Ok I did what the experts advise you have stayed in contact with the people I have been talking to but sometimes even that doesnt work. Remember never give up and head on to the next one.

Remember getting fired in today's economy is not your fault. Companies are cutting cost by firing people. This not not the best way for the employee but it works for the company. Getting a temporary job that best fits what your career goal is because, you can put it on your resume and it shows that you have not lost focus. "We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us" This too shall pass.
