  • Very Informative. Planning on buying the same cpu,mobo,combo......

Can you have brighter lighting plz....:D just a suggestion

  • @CivilianCitizenX Thanks! I absolutely agree about the lighting. I put together a workbench area in my basement with better lighting so I think future videos are going to be illuminated much better. If you check out my latest video I think you'll definitely see a difference.

  • You bought an 850w psu for just one 6870, or did u plan on crossfiring?

  • @Smile8Pproductions Probably, in the future, when prices come down. I figured a little extra money on a really well-reviewed power supply was a good investment.

  • @wowtorreon

True, I get a lot of comments on my builds that I use a high wattage power supply. But the prices aren't that much different and you can't go wrong with corsair anyway.

  • @jorn89 Agree 100%.

  • verry good videos keep it up

  • @Athelete1697 Thanks!

  • the power to your mother board, take the cord off, bend in hand to desired shape, use force, lol, then heat with hair dryer, and i mean get that mother hot!, bend and heat as needed untill desired effect is achieved, trust me it will stay that way. I own Doghouse Computers in braintree ma, I use this trick all the time, it works, do it for all my client builds.

  • @jimmysp4des I never thought to do that - good suggestion. I am pretty happy though with the Bitfenix parts, I think they look pretty good.

  • ok, ill stop giving you shit, but i do have a question, does the the poer cord on for your psu not fit very securely? I have the exact same psu and the female end is not as snug as id like it to be, has more wiggle room than id like, other that that i love it and mine at least is quite as hell.

  • @jimmysp4des LOL, keep the comments coming, no worries. I am no expert by any means so I'm always appreciative when I can learn something new. As far as the PSU goes, no issues whatsoever on the power cord. It fits fine.

  • I like your videos, the way you make them, KEEP MAKING!

  • @FireHotStudios Thanks! I've got a few things coming up but it will probably be a week or so before I can get something up - I'm on vacation at the moment.

  • I cant get my 24 pin connector to snap in. it goes half way and i cant power on my new system :(

i dont want to force it too much because i dont want to damage the mainboard- my fingers feel like their about to fall off.

  • @lendial You sure it's positioned the right way? The plug is keyed so that it should only allow for it to be put in one way. Also, check that you don't have any bent pins.

  • @wowtorreon 50 minutes building pc, 40 minutes realizing i had the cable on backwards. im a ashamed to call myself a university graduate!

for some reason it went in 90% on the wrong way- im thankful nothing was bent or damaged.

system is up and running! but now i cant get catalyst drivers for my 6870 to work.

  • @lendial I'll bet you never make that mistake again! I didn't have problems with my drivers when i set mine up. You might want to try installing the drivers from the CD that came with your video card just to see if those work. Then you could check for updates.

  • Super kick ass PC ;)

  • @MrCaganamata Thanks!

  • Very good videos, i watched all of them !

  • @heinzelbube Thanks! I appreciate it. I've got some other stuff planned so stay tuned.

  • Thanks for taking your time and making these series man. It really gives us noobs like me, feel a little more confident when we go to buy and assemble our pc. Thanks alot bro!

  • @theryan96 No problem! I figured that it might be useful for others to see what I put together. Glad it was helpful.
