Guys please stop comparing a naturaly aspirated engine with a turbo charged one. BMW M series and AUDI RS series are both very nice cars but they do not share the same philosophy regarding the engine. Only one rule, aiming to perfection and both car makers (and others) do their best to achieve that...

414 hp, 0-60 in low low 4's, top speed is limited to 155mph but probably would pull around 175 unlimited, price is said to be about 5k-10k on top of the e46 m3, so i'd expect 65-75k USD? the sickest thing is the crazy ass redline, 8500 rpm.

I can't believe that some poeple compare this machinery to a WRX STI. My stock M3 leaves a Subaru in the dust... That's why my plates say: EATM3DST. I have to agree with some people, for that price tag there are nicer looking cars (on the outside) but the performance doesn't even come close. You cannot compare an Infinity to an M3. Not today not tomorrow. Final thoughts: I will stick arround with my 03 M3...

After a steady diet of Top Gear, this montage seems a bit tame by comparison--the 80s porn music doesn't help either. Is it possible to get this clip with only the exhaust note etc. or is it a BMW PR film?

I'm a bit disappointed with the car itself--it seems to be steadily coming closer to being a poser car given its carbon fiber roof etc. Hopefully the performance lives up to the reputation.

You know what though, it is a great car..but I would rather spend the money on a bigger car that does not look like a freakin 3 series. I just got the 07 G35 sedan with 306 HP, and my car does 0-60 in about 4.9 and is not nearly as pricey...Audi is a great car as well
