How sad that the man who complained, must be doing well financially as he could also end up homeless too. If I had private property or land, I would let the homeless come live on it until they can get their lives back up again. What is needed is more manufacturing and assembly jobs back in America! Then the jobless rate could be reduced. American name brand should be made in the USA not China!

Mr. Nickels needs a reality check. I think that if him or the city doesnt like the homeless they should do something about it. The city should build homes or buy up some of the empty houses in their community as part of a housing project to provide shelter for the homeless. If nothing else get permission from the owner to build a privacy fence and restroom and shower facilities for the homeless, and start a soup kitchen on site. Instead of kicking people out they should be trying to help...

Why can't the homeless move into empty houses that have been repossessed? Nobody in the current economic climate is able to buy those houses anyway, so they may as well be used for a good purpose.

I just found your comment while browsing...there is a guy that's illegaly putting homeless families into foreclosures, which are owned by the bank. Apparently, our government has paid billions of dollars to the banks, because of foreclosures and now that the banks are getting so much money for foreclosures, they are foreclosing more houses now than ever. There is an epeidemic of himelessness, due to the foreclosure of houses.
