  • i have the regenerating health implant , will it help me in dead money?

  • Dude it wasn't a glitch, Dog kills himself so it automatically sets off your collar, IF he spots you and you don't "Put him back in the cage"

  • Impossible on hardcore

  • Yea, im definately not wasting my fukin 10 bucks on dis shit. ill stick to OWB, HH(neh i guess), and wait for the probably best and last DLC...LONESOME ROAD :D

  • I'm level 32 iv played both dlc's exept this one. Iv done just about everything .beat game 3 times. I think I'm ready for a challenge .dead money, here I come!

  • LOL good review havent got this DLC but it looks worth a try haha.

  • worse DLC ever in the fucking history (at last fallout 3 n New Vegs) worse shit ever! the plot was very good but i couldnt enjoy it because of the collar beeping, those ghost were too powerful and not mentioning the fucking holograms. the traps werent so bad, but i had to turn hardcore off... shittiest DLC, no ammo, no weapons, no stimpaks or relatives (good for challenge) BUT GOD I HATE THE FUCKIGN COLLAR!

  • @lasarousi dude,if you didnt find any stimpacks, thats sad.theres a stimpack code at the beginning of the medical clinic,so you can buy stimpacks from vending machines, and there deans stashes, which give you weapons, ammo, and usually stimpacks.

  • @lasarousi And if you had christine as a companion, she blocks the beeping for a long time.

  • @Megaultraawesome99 yeah but could have her just for two trips only, the rest was blarghalecioutastic

  • The DLC would be good if they take away 1. The gliceis 2. The beeping

  • I liked the DLC overall, but there were some issues. I didn't mind the toxic gas or the holograms so much, but the collar was annoying as hell. The storyline and the characters were great, and the gameplay was very challenging, especially playing on hardcore, but the radios were too much. Also, the game crashed on me 11 times while I was playing it, and the final quest did not give me enough time to reach the elevator even with a sprint mod installed. I had to use console commands.

  • help how can i start the dlc?

  • this dlc is like saw cool =D

  • i loved it

  • I want them to make a dlc to where the enclave comes back and you have to fight with the BoS again and there would be beast energy weapons. (similar to fa 3 but much different storyline)

  • They really need to make a DLC that would let you play after you beat the game. They had one for Fallout 3 and it really improves the game.Fallout:New Vegas is my favorite game of all time and i hope it hasjust as much(or even more)DLC than 3.I know there are mods but it would really make the game better.

  • @perplemunkeeez I know what u mean. If they made it feel like Point Lookout i would be happy. Point Lookout was my favourite DLC for any game ever.

  • @TheSmokegunner I don't even want to beat the game untill I have done everything.

  • OK.....Could Have Been Better :L

  • Did anyone else really like this dlc? Cause I did. lol.

  • ehh good be much betterm but i enjoyed it and i think its worth it... just be prepared

  • well hopefully the final dlc i forget the name but it has a huge fight between the courier and ulessys a courier asked b4 you to take the platinum chip which i feel will be very cool

  • Completely agree with you buddy. An explosive collar, ghost people who are really hard to kill, toxic gas cloud. Awful dlc. Can't measure up to any dlc of fallout 3

  • I love FNV , I downloaded the DM content and am at the casino currently ... Disable those Holograms ( Blue ) Emmitters :) It’s a way to complete the “ Whole Story “ with upcomming DLC ! It’s worth the 10 $ to me anyways

  • Really? I really enjoyed this DLC. It provides challenge and a survival element that was lacking from New Vegas. I suppose the people that are having a lot of trouble just run in a shoot anything that moves. Not really taking care of their health or creating strategies. The story is fantastic. A mans obsession and inability to let go. The characters are very well made. Personally I think that this is better than Fallout 3's DLC.

  • this shit is even more difficult than point lookout for fallout 3 :s

  • at first I didn't particularlty have much fun playing this DLC the radio signals where a constant bother and the enemy difficulty was painful. but overall thinking back to it now it was a pretty good DLC with some good new weapons, interesting characters, new places to explore, raised the level cap and some good backstory. (Despite how twisted it was)

    6 out of 10

  • Excellent review, whats the new level cap with th DLC?

  • Cocacole9-i looked and for some resoon its 800 for me

  • Good review on the most annoying DLC ever. It's not really totally bad, but the poisonous gas clouds and slave collars make this DLC artficially hard, mainly by frustration. This could have been a good DLC but a short one if they didnt have the gas and the collars. The Ghosts and limited guns are challenging enough imho, they just added the gas and collars to atificially extend playing time from like 3 hours to 10 hours - but bought with pure frustration. "Challenging" is something else.

  • Fallout 3 was better, but I cant play that since I have done every possible thing in it. New Vegas is still good, and this DLC was great, it was actually DIFFICULT. Every game that Bethesda makes is amazing, same goes for obsedian. But not as much : )

  • i hate when people talk trash about DLC's, just cuz they're to dumb to under stand the plot. how about this............you make a game, with matching DLC then we'll talk

  • @AnthonyAnarchy1 That is a very silly comment.

  • @TheBratterz thats cool.........now shut up

  • @AnthonyAnarchy1 you are very very stupid saying that last part "Make a DLC then we'll talk". The fact of the matter is that its not the story its the gameplay its way too repetitive and it doesn't help that I spent 6 hrs only to have 1 of 3 companions have a good ending. The DLC isnt worth the lvl cap or the crappy weapons. Theres no good reward which is ridiculous. The story is unoriginal its just like the SAW movies.

  • It's called dead money not Dead Mooney

  • + Great story

    + Interesting characters

    + Pretty long

    - Maze-like world with map that doesnt help

    - No fast travel making for lots of back & fourth experiences

    - So difficult it's almost unenjoyable

    OVERALL: 7/10

  • dude i love ur review it better than IGN ...u should add me on xbox360

  • For some reason I had no problem with glitches and I like this one because I found the way to get all the gold bars at the end

  • put it on a cd

  • It glitches when I had to make dog stay at that trigger thing I forgot but I didn't know what to do. Can someone help

  • Just put on light step.

    Make your melee/unarmed skill high

Boost your survival skill a little because the only health you an get is from food.

  • Dead Money is kind of like... I dunno, Operation Anchorage for FO3. It's something you want to do once, and then never do ever again.

It's DLC content - new perks, weapons, higher levels. I got it, did the quests for one character, didn't feel a need to do it for anyone else.

  • I miss the fallout 3 dlc's. Dead Money was a big let down. Why would I go back to that casino? Wait, can you even go back if you wanted too.?

  • 1st answer: Dead Money is really like SAW.

    2nd answer: Maybe.....

  • I actually didn't even destroy maybe more than 2 or 3 radios etc. I just ran past them or so. I did shut off some of them with terminals ofc. And regardless of that, my collar blew off like 2 times throughout the whole thing. And about the traps, protip: use light step. Makes this 10x easier. All in all, I really enjoeyd the DLC because of the difficulty (at last) and a nice story.

  • after seeing this i will wait for the next dlc, this si deffinetly not my game style

  • @TheBratterz that hella gay now I have to start all over cuz I forgot to save before I went into the final battle.

  • Do you need this dlc to continue playing FNV after you beat the game???

  • @CurlyHead171 You can't continue playing after you beat the game with or without this DLC. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :<

  • @TheBratterz you can on pc but you need a mod

  • @TheBratterz i suspect they mite, eventually

  • im thinking of getting this on PC i just have a question once i finish this DLC start to end can i finish the main story of the game and it wont end?

  • @drsjohnny Nope, it's like operation anchorage.. Maybe in the future they'll come with a broken steel for nv

  • @drsjohnny well yeah. I use a mod that let's me keep playing after I beat the game. When you finished the DLC you go back to finish your missions in the Mohave.

  • i found this quite fun and entretaining, Before entering create save and when ever u want to play the main game load thatone and play and save it again disable outsaves. Its easy so thats not a problem for me, i had quite a strugle cuz i was playing in hardcore mode and my character with meele weapons is not the best but i had fun cuz it was challenging and interesting.

  • I hated this DLC, a pain in the ass. I only got it for the new level cap, boy was I choked once I started playing through this thing.

  • @DressuOut Hopefully we'll see improvement with the next DLC...

  • I'm only getting this DLC so I can get back into the Mojave. Do I need to finish this DLC in order to do that?

  • @TheSkyWhale This one doesn't let you go back into the Mojave after completing the main storyline. You need to use an earlier save unfortunately.

  • @TheBratterz Wow, what were the creators thinking :/

  • @TheSkyWhale No idea. They did the same thing with Fallout 3 and people didn't like it. Eventually one of the DLCs allowed you to play after you complete the storyline. Maybe we'll see something similar with future DLC :S

  • @TheBratterz Hopefully. They probably pissed aloot of people off.

  • @TheSkyWhale yeah pretty much. You only get to leave and get your weapons back after you finish everything up in that DLC.

  • do you get to keep weapons its over

  • @jackhaste62 Yup I believe so, although I dropped all my items so I could carry something else back with me :]

  • @TheBratterz what did you want to take back

  • The collar ruined it for me.. I saved after every beeping part so I wouldn't have to do it again.

  • @RegenerateV2 Haha I was exactly the same. Although I have a terrible habit of only using one save file and that could have ended very badly when I got stuck in that room...

  • i think fallout 3 was better by better i meas that it dint have as many Bugs and gilchs

  • @Mr2006999 I remember it having a few problems with bugs as many open world games tend to have, but not to the same extent as New Vegas...

  • @fuckgod666forlife I'm sure they will fix all the glitches, but by the time they do many of us will have completed Dead Money with no intention of playing through it again.

We shouldn't really have to wait for patches for a DLC anyways. I understand that New Vegas itself is a huge area and of course it will have bugs that they didn't find when testing. But if they release a DLC too early and I pay full price for it, I expect a finished product.

  • @TheBratterz I don't see myself ever going back and playing this DLC again. It's a shame. I think there's already a mod out where you get to have dog, dean and that girl as your companions in the waste. So it wasn't all bad.

  • The exploding collar BS really ruined the DLC for me. I have no problem with the hard enemies, poison fog, or the numerous traps but the constant beeping was just too much. I spent over 30 minutes trying to beat Father Elijah (only because for whatever reason the game would glitch out and he wouldn't move out of the security field area) but afterwords died because I couldn't get out in time. BS

  • @poweroftheglory I feel your pain!

  • i got it on xbox a couple days ago. ive gotton quite far into the dlc and yet to experiance any glitches/bugs. its an ok dlc however it is very hardcore and does not give you very much freedom to really walk around and explore. it is extremely challenging to maintain your health even if your at a low difficulty level. the dlc however has a very nice backstory/plot and is quite intreuging. in my opinion, its good but does not meet its full potential. 7/10

  • @marshandomness Nice summary! We all have different opinions and I'm glad to see you enjoyed the hardcore survival theme of the DLC.

  • @marshandomness It wasn't THAT hard, but still nice comment I agree with you.

  • You know ive already beaten Dead Money and to be honest if it weren't for the exploding collar because of radios and speakers bull shit I would have liked the DLC tons more. This guy is dead on on this review everyone. But if you are looking for a good challenge and being rewarding with tons of money and a powerful new energy weapon and you're also a Hardcore fallout fan I say try this one. But if you do be warned because you should complete DM with a character with high unarmed/melee skill.

  • @Xzameron Thanks for the feedback dude and I'm glad you thought my review was accurate!

  • @abbath1586 my reveiw doesnt spoil it if thats what youre about i highly recomend you listen to my reveiw before you buy it to make sure you dont get wasted money

  • @Brokensteel1228 I didn't realize my review had spoilers either?

  • @TheBratterz didnt actually watch ur vid dude just saw the comment and thought id help no hard feelings man

  • My friend was saying that he hates this DLC and isn't anywhere nearly as good as the DLC's for F3. I won't go by a review until I play it for myself, but I have to wait till it comes out on PC.

  • main reason i got this was for level cap

  • @LucasimoTheGreat I'm still yet to reach the level cap, maybe I'll try to get there before the next DLC :)

  • @TheBratterz i found that just woundering in places and getting as much kills as posible and also getting a better chance at finding another quest which of course gives you points when completed proved usefull in getting a level up and also dont ignor the side missions

  • @frank6546 Yeh I did try my best to explore the DLC as much as possible. However I wasn't capped before I started the DLC as I still have plenty of side missions and areas to explore in the Mojave :)

  • whoah thank god I watched this lol I was about to go download this first thing today, but after seeing this...PASS

  • @ronaldwwe06 Glad I could help :]

  • @ronaldwwe06 good move

  • get it just try and make it through the bugs and non-sense in the end of it you get iteams worth 10000 caps each so even though its got problems it just got released just save often try to get past them and finish it its worth it for the extra lvls, money, experience points, and more story line and pausable story line to another DLC

  • i liked it i just really wanted to get back to the wasteland and dead money is pretty much a big maze so if your not good at puzzles ur not probobably going to like this game took me about 6-8 hours but it has a really good reward at the end and the 35 level cap is great to

  • hmm... good review. I don't think I'll buy. This DLC looks like it will make my blood pressure go up. I think I'm just gonna sell my copy of New vegas and buy it again next year when they release a version that comes with the DLC on a second disc.

  • @shiftydevil623 Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Yeh they should have ironed out a lot more of the little glitches by that time.

  • im probably finding these missions easier than most ppl cos my characters main skill is unarmed and i can constantly use the bear trap fist. It still very hard at times and i would only recommend this to pllayers who have mastered the mojave wastland and want a challenge. I got stuck on that speaker glitch aswell its the crappiest thing ever to happen ever

  • @robdog2k10 I was just starting to get fed up with the speakers at the time as well. That didn't really help so much :P

  • @TheBratterz Never had any glitches happen during this DLC (Guess I got lucky) but the speakers were indeed very, very frustrating. I can't count how many times I got blown up playing this.

  • BAILO!

  • Good review, exactly my thoughts. Dead money was a very good concept, bogged down by shitty gameplay issues. I have a lot of complaints but between the speakers, ghosts, holograms, traps, and poisonous gas clouds making gameplay completely un-enjoyable and the utter lack of new content (I.E. New armor, weapons, items, companions you could actually keep?) Dead Money was shit. Hope to see more videos from you perhaps gameplay footage or a "Let's Play"?

  • @MrMatamusca Thanks for the feedback! I usually upload a weekly video called Sunday Morning Gameplay (SMG), hopefully that might interest you :)

  • awesome review!

  • @fallout4ev Thanks :)

  • I have a question: Does war ever changes?

  • @Hulkmania316 War...war never changes.

  • @TheBratterz hahaha, that's right LOL. hahaha

  • @Hulkmania316 Does Chuck Norris sleep?

  • @chungalungas Chuck Norris does not sleep... He waits

  • @darrenegan2k9 lol True, so the answer is no.

  • @Hulkmania316.....War....War never changes....

  • i dunno whats up with everyone complaining about the clouds, the traps, and ammo scarcity. they aren't THAT bad. i never had to resort to melee weapons myself, and the clouds weren't a big deal at all. i will admit the bear traps got quite annoying, but as long as i took thing slow and was observational, it wasn't a big deal. this game is just survival horror 101; play silent hill or resident evil and you'll be good at this DLC. much more fun than most of the F3 DLCs.

  • @aliG2500 Glad you enjoyed it. My main complaints were the amount of radios / speakers and the glitches to be honest. I thought the survival aspect of Dead Money was pretty good.

  • @TheBratterz Hey cvan you give us some tips because im getting it today and Im not good at survival horror type games

  • Comment removed

  • It's worth noticing though that when you finish this dlc you get (free) 1100 chips to spend on your own vending machine every three days. Assuming you found the recipe's in the game you can buy cheap stimpaks, rad aways and buffouts 100's at a time.

  • @GrandChamp1989 There were also a couple of recipes for ammo which is always a bonus! Thanks for the tip :]

  • dead money was super challenging and the radios were annoying but it is a welcome challenge. it makes you play the game totally different that you are used to. i went in at level thirty with 1,000,000 plus caps, 200 stimpacks, fully repaired "this Machine" and Fully repaired remnant armor, just to have it all stripped away. I quickley had to adapt a new play style but at the end of it i once again had plenty of equipment( fully repaired),stimpacks and health. you cannot rush through this dlc.

  • @soad13malakian666 I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't think it is a "bad" DLC, I just think it needs a little more work.

    1 million caps :o GIMME

  • Sorry, i meant very nice Review.

  • @MrSimplyJesus Thank you!

  • Very nice DLC. I really wanted this but i might just wait now.

  • @MrSimplyJesus no get it... its certainly entertaining its just very challenging - which i think is good

  • @teamamericaworldpoli

Yes that seems what i'm looking for, thanks!

  • Really annoying DLC. I hardly enjoyed it at all. F3 had a great atmos and great DLC's like Mothership Zeta. the atmos and glitches in this are nowhere near as good.

  • wow uhm thanks for this man i was thinking bout buying but nevermind seems to annoying and those sounds would defitnetly drive me crazy thanks boyo!

  • @MrJcsalinas123 Glad I could help :]

  • The radio seems like it would be extremely annoying for me. Can you use the Rebreather in the toxic gas areas?

  • @Foofighter18 Unfortunately not, it's actually just a quest item that I kept from the New Vegas for some reason. It allows me to breathe underwater and that is all :(

  • I am sure you know this but dragon age also has a DLC that you might want to try before DA 2. Awesome work like always

  • @Flying1Kotte Witch Hunt! I love the story behind Morrigan and I'm looking forward to checking it out :)
