Counting Gold is fine but counting just Gold isn't a fair representation. It would be like saying country "A" won a gold medal and that's it. While country "B" didn't win any golds but won 10 medals overall. I would argue country "B" did a better job.
That being said 14 like 50 is impressive. Plus you actually won the major sports, unlike the Chinese who pick up 30 golds from ping pong alone
