When we were kids, about 14, 15 years old, he lived half a block from my house in Montevideo. His father and brother were basketball players, so he used to play basket with us and street football. Then he moved and one day started to appear on TV scoring goals for River Plate (Uruguay), we were shocked, in the street he was an average player but in two o three years exploded in a way nobody expected. Great guy, that´s all I remember from those days.
if chelsea signed cudicini 3-4 years earlier than they did, they would have had even more success in the 90s
if carlo came in 1996 or 1997 chelsea would look like this cudicini
casiraghi zola flo
casiraghi is in because he was a quality player but he was just unlucky and had his career ended with injury, if his best form and luck was with him at chelsea he would have been a blues legend
poyet was a legend, I was only 3-7 when he played for chelsea, but I remember how good he was, at school I was always trying poyet headers and the ball kept hitting my face and made me bleed! lol, if any chelsea player is like poyet now its ballack
While he was at the Bridge he was one of my favourite players I was absolutely gutted when he left. I really couldn't understand why Chelsea had let him leave.
