not at all, this isn't Freddy worship here, just....he's not close. In relation to Freddy his voice is not even close in quality. Freddy is so much more clear and he doesn't have to strain and shake his voice to make it sound good. Freddy could REALLY sing. so can he, but it's a different type, and in terms of quality in relation to the original, it doesn't hold a candle. They're tight, and the band plays the song well, but the vocals are not even close to the original.

I really agree with you, but, you have to put into consideration this band was barely out of high school, the lead singer was probably still going through a little puberty. However, his voice is naturally shakey, which makes it so unique. Panic! is probably one of the most unique bands of the 2000's. I mean, this pop and rap crap is overflowing, and p!atd is just right ontop, everything is good about the music, lyrics, just everything.

They know that once they get the fan to their concert they can play whatever they want, because the fan likes the band and not their music. Now a days anyone with a guitar and a computer could make songs 10 times better then Panic at the Disco. Not to mention, the lead singer is absolutely terrible.

@superfly299 brendon has a tendency to shout rather than sing- more nowadays than when he was younger, actually- but if you listen to him on 20 dollar nose bleed by Fall Out Boy you can really hear him actually singing (I feel like maybe he was directed a little more than when he's doing things for his own band) and he's definitely not "absolutely terrible"- the type of band he in dictates the way he sings, but his voice and range are both good.
