I always perceived Jordan as a little more developed and cosmopolitan then some of the other countries in the middle east. Apparently her and her husband have done a lot to increase women's rights, the economy, and even move away from a monarchy. Jordan seems to have good leadership, and this is one more creative move to improve peoples perception of jordan. Bravo.

Queen Rania, you inspire me and I look up to you. Someday I hope to work in the US government with the Middle East, and bring understanding of both cultures to both sides. I think what you are doing is a big step toward that.
Also, as for the people who think that Arab nations are the only places where women are treated badly, look around. Especially if you are from the United States. We are far more conservative here than most Americans realize, and we (the world) should all work for equality.

I always perceived Jordan as a little more developed and cosmopolitan then some of the other countries in the middle east. Apparently her and her husband have done a lot to increase women's rights, the economy, and even move away from a monarchy. Jordan seems to have good leadership, and this is one more creative move to improve peoples perception of jordan. Bravo.
