I have a 1968 JD 110 with full Ag tires, and weights, and hydraulic lift...I dont have to run a high speed or high gear to drag a one bottom plow, and its desert ground.I bet with the hog pen garden its going to be a bumper crop...The weeds will be horrendous.
@tahirswati It is a 9HP cast iron Briggs and Stratton horizontal shaft engine. A bigger Briggs up to 16HP cast iron will bolt right in, with minor modifications. They don't make them like this anymore. There are a lot of them out there yet though.
ploughing always goes prior to tilling. just allow for some good amount of rainfall - just to help soften and ease the soil if it was a pen.. the ground must have been packed hard. :) nice little tractor i should say :)
@Unthinkable2009 Its Allis orange, just plowed today with mine. All American made parts, unlike the Deere. Most real farmers dont use tiller and use the plow.
