Country music is not unique in having a huge quantity of homogenous, insipid, uninspired crap to satisfy its "pop" listeners.
You wouldn't fuss over "lumping" your favorite rock bands in with "rock", despite there being an immense quantity of pre-fab garbage in that genre as well, would you?
