I have bought a second hand set of this train for my son. I have inserted 6 x AA-batteries in the buttom of the train. The train moves very slowly and almost stops when it reach a curve. It's like if the 6 x AA-batteries are not power enough. Have I missed anything? Extra batteries somewhere else?

Dont rate his comment bad! Its an actually question. Well you see the normal was a set called the cargo train. It was first made in 2003 for the world city collection. I really wasnt in to Lego in 03, and I didnt know any one with it. However it used 9 volt technology. 9volt tech is basically like a real train. The electricity flows throught the tracks, which pwoers the train. The new cargo train, reviewed in the vid uses RC technology. This is like a diesel engine,

Well very nice review. I was planning on buying this in time for X-Mas 09, but lol i got greedy, I had it in checkout, wanted to buy a samller set with it, so i went back to the cart, but then it was sold out. Lol. But sincec then I am waiting for the 2010 sets coming in Summer 10. Itll be the same a cargot rain and pass train. The cargo will be yellow, and the the Pass. one will be red. And they will use pwoer funstions. cheers
