Just beautiful - memories of my best friend and I imaginining Russell Morris visiting our little country town and discovering us! We were 14! I know what she has been through and the same with myself and family.... awful stuff - but here is this song from when we were so young..thanks Russell
The biggest problem for Russell Morris was that he was born in Australia. If he had started in the USA he would be even more famous and a lot wealthier too.
todays music is mostly by produced people with produced music. Keep in mind that they could make a brown dog sing today if they wanted. Most of todays singers are not reallly tallented eg Britney(the mimer) Spears. And all that hip hop rap crap just is all the same where's the melody?
One of the most underrated talents of all time, should have been an international superstar. Had the good fortune to see him live a few times over the years including a gig at Billboard over 20 years ago where I had a chat with him. Found him to be a great bloke as well as a sensational musician.
all time great song, rarely played these days,Russell Morris was truly a great talent and was fortunate enough to see him play at the long way to the top concert in Sydney a few years ago... awesome!!
Relax dude. It just happened to be around the same time as Honky Tonk Women. I like it, it was popular enough to make number one in Oz and if you don't like it, don't listen to it.
Nice

I like "The real thing" the best of his songs, very catchy. Greath voice though
