I can see how texting has become so important to young women that are dating. One of the tendencies of someone with Passive Aggressive behavior is that when you want to hurt someone you do it indirectly, such as through messages, in order to avoid personal confrontations.
There is actually a new website (which I won't divulge to avoid being marked as a spam comment) which actually promotes flirting via Twitter. Quite creepy.
