Hmmm...Cantrell's...wasn't that an old Sonic drive-in? Re-opened for a while as Roosters? Saw Black Flag there in May '85. Bathrooms flooded there. Anybody remember if Scooter Yancey was at either show?
God, I hope out there somewhere is footage of the Scorchers jamming with Mom and Dad, REM, Chris Stamey(sp?), and the DBs!

3 bucks bought a lot of music at Franks n Stein's, Cantrells, Springwater, Elliston Square, The (old) Old Time Pickin Parlor, and after it reopened, the Exit/In.
I saw the debut of the Scorchers at the Pickin Parlor. Jason was flailing around like a maggot on a frying pan between the tables of that little room!
