The only thing about new school that got people hooked is its super flow. The flow is different and 10 times better. As for lyrics i can not say the same. Old school lyrics were like poems and stories, facts, and lessons being taught. It gave information. New school is just about rapping over a beat and making it sound hot. Lil kim takes me on a trip in everyone of her songs.... especially when im high- thats the best time to listen to real hip hop.
