In college at age 13 goes to show that American education sucks. Other foreign countries especially in Asia and Europe have education systems light-years ahead of America.
I finally learned this piece and can play it pretty well. All I can say is good job! I like the clarity and the fineness at 0:21. However, at about 0:37, there was a slight pause after the low D fifth, before going back to the D triads. I have this problem too, but you're still much better than me. Keep on going, I think you have a future in music.
All I can say is... WOW! I am learning this piece right now, and it is pretty difficult, but once you start to penetrate the surface of this piece, it gets easier and easier. I have two more years to go until I'm thirteen, and all I can say is that I hope to match your excellence!
For all those, who didn't give five stars, you're crazy. Im thirteen too and if i did that and didn't get five stars, I would think i was like stupid or something. DOnt compare him to Rachmaninoff, compare him to another kid.
everybody's doing all these complex replies about improvement and learning this piece...all i can say is...YOU"RE AWESOME!!! (and i have a LONG way to go before i even start learning this piece ^^;)
That was good :) I played this song last year as well, it's a fun one :) One thing I noticed though is that you didn't really drop into the chords, and use arm weight, but maybe you do in other pieces?
So skinny! But, I guess most of the nutrients have to go to you brain. Excellent interpretation, and inspiring performance. Hope this 17 year old can match it =)

Good job, one of my favorites. However, do you really feel the need to brag that you are a college sophomore (at age 13)?. I can play this piece too, but you don't see me bragging.
Really? He plays this piece beautifully, and it is quite an accomplishment to be a college sophomore at such a young age. your not bragging if you can do it
Brilliant! Brilliant interpretation of this interesting piece and so much better than the composer's rendering of the piece to be found on You Tube. I was with this young man all the way and he certainly made the most of the ideas in the composition. Sahun Hong plays piano with a very mature style for his age; good luck to him.

ah polichinelle, that's a fun one. great job.
some parts like 0:50 and 0:58 sound a just barely blurry, but then again i bet that's just the sound quality and the big room.

it could be an overuse of the pedal. however, i think the clarity is fine.
