hey, my 12 year old has cystic acne the past year and has been on antibiotics and creams that have done nothing, they now want to put him on acutane and we were given booklets about all the side effects and wow they are scary but hes so down about his skin ( its really bad) that im going to try it i think, do u think its a good decision to put a 12 year old on accutane?? (he doesnt look 12 he 5 foot 6 lol) any advice greatly appreciated im so nervous about this!!!

@Eden171717 yeah i see an improvement at last month 3. and since first time i don't feel any side effects of accutane but only dryness.. i don't know why? and even i didn't check my blood test anymore. oh im on 40mg/day and im 55kgs.

Youre so lucky, i was on accutane a year ago but mine has returned :( thinking of going on a 2nd course ..esp since im getting married in 6 months! Crazy tho bc that means ill have cracked lips on my wedding, its either that or acne. :(
