  • That Princes Juliana Internatinal Airport where they HAVE TO land super close to the beach aspesherly 747's

  • Next time jump high enough to actually grip the wheels

  • @AndersonFamily12 haha anderson family how many in your family dynamic did you use when writing your post? i can imagine you and your whole family gathered around the computer on sunday watching youtube videos together. lol what a tradition

  • @allrightsreserved88 hahahahahhaahah no i just gave my channel that name cos i couldnt think of anything else plus all the good names where taken

  • couple hand fulls of sand stop that bitch right in its tracks

  • I pooted.

  • airline pilots are like bus drivers in the sky, what do they know?

  • @13mikeylite13 They know flying not just yourself but 50+ people in a heavy and flammable craft is a dangerous job if you don't know what you're doing. I'm assuming you've never opened up an ATP manual. Did you know that airline pilots who go into the military usually fly the heavy bombers and ground support planes like an ac130? Btw, bus drivers can pull over if they run out of gas and hit technical difficulties, can you stop a plane in midair? Didn't think so.

  • FAKE

  • @13mikeylite13 actually its princess juliana (TNCM) lol

  • if it's too close for your comfort, what are you doing there

  • where is this that's cool.

  • I will repeat myself. I am a pilot for a major airline. This is NOT fake!!! St. Thomas is like this. The runway is short and you have to hit it on the end. All the F*****G drunks are on the beach waving at you as you fly over there heads at less than fifty feet. They even list the arrival schedules for all the airline right on the beach so all the stupid drunks can jump up and try to touch the airplane. This is truly mankind at one of it's most idiotic moments!

  • @maxepr727 st maartins real bad too, matter of fact so is st barts

  • @maxepr727 This is st.martin...

  • @mrmag1cc You are probably right. It's St Martin. I have not been down there in a year but they are both very similar.

  • @maxepr727 Thats ok, I used to live there so I know I recognised it.

  • Ahhh, 240p. We meet again, my friend....

  • sorry bout that guys i told him to fly low so i could give him a hug :p

  • ha i can bend to your needs

  • I've Seen 5 Different Of Planes Nearly Flying 1ft Over Head And I Recognized Its Always The Same Beach

  • Fake and Ga- ooh wait..

  • @Yonschnee Not fake. True stuff right there. That's St. Marteen airport in the Caribbean and the landings are really like that. For the take offs, you can stand along the airport fence and feel the blast of jet wash push back against you.

  • @NormanRB No I know it isn't fake lol I used to read all about it. I said "ooh wait" to show that I'm just kidding :)

  • @Yonschnee ahh... my apologies then. Sorry. Nice to see people with a sense of humor on here.

  • @Yonschnee ; I'm living in the French Side of Sint Maarten and no it's not fake !

  • @watoowatoo I know I know I'm just kidding thats why I stopped saying Fake and Gay by saying Ooh Wait lol

  • I would't be funny (or not) is a plane actually lands on the beach and breaks through the fence.

  • real...real...REAL!!!!

  • I don't get all these St. Martin landing videos, think about it. If he clears the fence, which is taller than a man, there is no chance of ever hitting anyone on the beach.

  • @RaisuliLordoftheRiff the blast from the engines could be dangerous

  • @RaisuliLordoftheRiff not all pilots are perfect all of the time

  • FAAAAAAKKK - oh no wait, I'm not an idiot

  • howcome my left testicle is higher than my right one? :/

  • @spikeboy326 That's normal....

  • Whata rush!

  • Oh, you're on THAT beach... with the airport, like 10 feet away? Right? LOL!!!

  • I can just imagine being the project supervisor who came down to see how the airport was coming along...

    "So, how are things going?"

"Oh, very well...we've almost finished construction"

    "...where is the airport?"

    "Right there, sir!"

    "........10 feet from the beach?"

    "Yes, sir"

"....why did I hire you again?"

  • i've seen other vids of this airport and the planes touched the fence exept for a view inches, lituary

  • @1fsnl1 Which means that they didn't touch the fence, right?

  • i wonder what'd happen if i followed the plane over the fence:P

  • It's not too close, the A/C is just following the glideslope as designated. This could have been an autoland or a manual landing, but in both cases the flight path and vertical speed were more then correct.

  • @TESTASPEEDER it was even a bit to high!

  • Would be so cool if the water would splash on the sides or whatever it does when the airplane is so close :O

  • I would of jumped up touched a wheel AND I WOULD NEVER WASH MY HANDS AGAIN dammit

  • @SINCARAROCKS619 wow if you want to touch a wheel you got to jump very high

  • @1fsnl1 lol im a preety good gymnast

  • that is soooo bad ass!!!!!

  • i wouldve hit the deck seein somethin like that comin in so close

  • Throw rocks at it XD

  • Oops i just shot my Grapple gun.

  • hmz I` m a sweet sesy doll, who is not just all about the looks

  • I wouldnt want to get shat on my that bird!

  • I bet a very tall basketball player could of jumped and touched the plane

  • @BigRLH You can stand on the fence and touch it if you're tall enough, might get a fine though.

  • you should have threw a rock at it

  • I do not want to know what would happen if BA38 repeated itself here.

For those who don't know, BA38 was a flight that crash landed short of the runway at Heathrow because the engines stopped responding to pilot's inputs in the final moments of the approach. Nobody was hurt in that case because it still came down inside the airport perimeter, but if that were to happen here, aich....

  • you got sand in my potato salad!

  • @sofruity3 Gwahahah...thats funny sofruty.

  • Woah There!.!.

  • DAMNIT I GOT SAND IN MAH PANTS!

  • but to be serious, this visual approach is done perfectly. KLM still flies to Sint Maarten, hope they continue with this destination.

  • I wonder how much trouble you'd get in if you threw a discus at it....

  • @Flashee9s It probably wouldn't reach but you'd have fun retrieving it hah.

  • @jakehanson123456789 Nah, straight up :) you could do some damage i reckon :)

  • @Flashee9s Baseball

  • @Flashee9s LOL

  • @Flashee9s only federal charges and some jail time... you're good.

  • @struckbylitenin what about farting on a cop?

  • @Flashee9s Only one way to find out...

  • @Flashee9s As a thrower I must say...

    Challenge accepted.

  • @Flashee9s or putting up your kite right in front of it...

  • @TiGroKe hahah yeah and getting it caught in the engine. yeeeeehhhaaaaawwww

  • @Flashee9s then you see a person Flying and being dragged across the runway ... IMMMM STUUUUUUUCCKKKKKK :o

  • @Flashee9s *Frisbee*

  • @Flashee9s pritty much i suppose

  • thats cool! I would like to go there and witness that

  • Actually for a 747, that was one of the highest landings I've ever seen.

  • reach up with u knife on a broom stick...... just in the right place....

  • lol.. when a plane looks like its flying directly at u, just grab ur camera and dont think to run away.

  • whew... wasted my time, everyone is a rocket scientist

  • this is to close: 747 Landing - St.Maarten

  • Now you know what it was like to be atleast 5 floors floors down from where the plane hit the world trade center. RIP to whomever lost their lives on that terrible day...

  • Whoever filmed this has some guts!!! :)

  • go to 0:15....there's a bit of water

  • lol fourtanetly ive been to st maarten but i didnt have to fly there no luckly i was on a cruise lol itd be funny if a whale happened to jump so high while that plane was over the ocean itd hit the plane lol

  • Is this Bermuda?, they do it there a lot

  • i almost shit my pants just watching the video

  • compared to some tncm videos iv seen, this is nothing!

  • ALL PRINCESS JULIANNA LANDINGS are like that

  • Can you take a ladder in your checked luggage? :D

  • Hell, Id love to blast a football off that thing!

  • lol wave to the pilots

  • this wasnt even near close, compared to others videos I saw.

  • LOL, evenrounded14...

  • soccerball i would have kicked a soccer ball at it >:D

  • wow

  • hahahahahah

funny cause the girl screamed louder than the engines

  • OMG! Move out of the way!!!

  • i wonder how loud those engines were

  • FUCKIN DUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fearless bastard/

  • The actually do this for the people want to get an awesome shot of an aircraft.

  • @ankiatir4850 An ILS would ruin not only the beach, but the fun and challenge of a good old visual landing. Pilots are not lazy, they enjoy this kind of thing :)

  • I would be running like the fucking wind if I saw that coming towards me.

  • @Iwantatelescope yeah, try being ON the craft, and being scared of the ocean. sucka about 11 times more ass. TRUST me.

  • RWY O9*=10

  • Somebody install ILS On runway 09...it will reduce workload on pilots..no more visual landing:)

  • @ankiatir4850 Still need visual even with an ILS. The ILS doesn't land the aircraft for you, it tells where the middle of the runway is, and the relative altitude for the approach slope. It only give info to the pilot on which correction to make in order to land in the middle of the runway at the right descent slope, especially in poor weather condition. There is surelly an ILS system right there. Aviation security requires it. But it does not fly the aircraft for the pilots

  • I bet the pilot was like " oh shit oh shit oh shit....YES!"

  • WOW! you discovered St. Marten!

  • wtf didn't your ears go boom?!!!

  • I wonder what would happen if i brought my giraffe to that beach :D

  • @SnowLeopardStudioz bahaha my guess is he would have a hell of a headache

  • Man, that was close but awesome! I would love to have been at that angle. Cool video!

  • I wonder when the day of Human Salami due to victims being sucked into the Turbofan will come

  • The internet "shud" stop letting people spell stoopid.

  • BEACHED WHALE!

  • Who the fuck builds an airstrip right behind a public beach.

  • @suspicioususer the airstrip was there first!

  • @jimdep333 So U are saying airstrip was there before mother nature created beach?

  • FUCK! my sandcastle.

  • Thumbs up who will come with me to make a human pyramid, put someone we hate on top so he gets wiped out :)

  • this is pretty dangerous...for ears.

  • @TheLoyalhuman Not just ears, just blast is terrible...imagine getting pelted by sand. Airbus is bad enough at taxi speeds.

  • No of course not a small plane, when you do it, do it right. It's a friggin' 747... Why the fuck not. Still, I would take a look when I were on that beach. :)

  • that's what you call poor location plannin :P

  • @RandomCoked Hahaha :D

  • RPG would be perfect

  • READY GARTH? READY WAYNE!......WHOOOOO HAHAHAAAAAAAA WHOOO.

  • do you have to sign a waiver to stand there?

  • tons of space!

  • @Kerplunkification maybe it would be better if you were there

  • im still wondering what happens if a big large truck is just driving over that motorway at the moment the plane arrives....

  • Princess Juliana Intl airport :) I think :O

  • People, this is St Maartens airport and the flight path takes you over the beach and over a road and over a fence before you get to the runway, It is not a mistake it is just the characteristic of that airports runway......

  • @ricturtle Naww... yer wrong DUDE. That pilot wasted a LOT of runway there.

Q; Why are you getting worked up over comments made by people unknown to you? You should maybe take a vacation to a tropical island, or see a shrink myt also help. You shouldn't be so sanzitave ... just let us be our ignorant selves.

  • @DancingSpiderman So tell me are you a 747 pilot and have you landed at St maartens??? No i am not that sensetive, I Just hate stupidity.....

  • @DancingSpiderman I believe you to be wrong that landing is spot on, landings should happen over the piano keys, Unless you are a 747 pilot and have landed there. then i would say that you are a youtube expert. I am not sensetive and frankly I don't care.

  • WOW. That pilot wasted a LOT of runway there...

If this were The Gong Show, I'da gonged him

  • @DancingSpiderman tru that

  • Was just there this week on a carribean cruise. Didn't get to experience a 747, but a DC-9 was good enough :) Plus a bunch of smaller turbo props. It's definetly a rush!

  • Actually this is a little high for pilots xD

  • I may have just crapped my pants during this video.

  • @yourcathatesme Hahahaa!!!!

  • this has to be a better rush than a rollercoaster

  • At 0:10 i'd be like RUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!!!!

  • Someone shud throw a rock at it

  • @evenRounded14 cleaver one oh im gonna through a rock at a 747 who cares if it kills anyone coz it goes in the engines

  • Comment removed

  • @evenRounded14 yer if you on board the plane lol

  • @evenRounded14 r u sick. what would u do if u trew the rock at it and then the plane crashed and 300 people burned up... well i would swim away, as the airport would be full of policemen.

  • @IIIIN3ROOIIII Im not being serious, I'm just kidding. Of course that would be horrible and that person would be arrested. I understand that. I'm not trying to be cool making fun of people dying. That would be a disaster. I'm just bringing up an interesting thought that (obviously not to be taking seriously) would give people a chuckle when they see that thinking of someone doing that, not thinking about consequencesI'm just (trying) to be funny because outside of YouTube I'm not at all :D

  • @evenRounded14 but if so,the rock would enter in the engine and...BOOOOOMMM!!!

  • @evenRounded14 what and then potentially cause a crash killing hundreds of people? The maturity of some people is beyond me.

  • @StevenNFFC Its's a joke calm down...

  • @cartmanfan102 i bet its fake to huh? pfft

  • @MrSpideradam what? no not the video.

  • @evenRounded14

    lol i like u

  • @evenRounded14 yeah, and hopefully you fod out an engine and kill everyone on board. great idea.

  • @djliquorish QQ more faggot

  • @SereneiBE i don't follow.?.?

  • @evenRounded14 True... Laters 500 people.

  • @evenRounded14 Doing so is a National Crime by the FAA punishable by up to 70 years in prison and a $85,000 fine.

  • @MarkMck1994

lol... That airplane nor the airport have anything at all to do with the "FAA"... Its a Dutch Airline and a Dutch airport

  • @Boeinguy Well the EASA ... European Aviation Safety Agency. I Just knew most people would have never have heard of the EASA so i replaced it was FAA just to make things simple.

  • @evenRounded14 definitely!

  • @evenRounded14 Do you know what a rock could do to a 747 at that speed? When you do please let me know! ROFL

Seriously though. 2 words. EXPLOSIVE DECOMPRESSION.

  • Comment removed

  • @babylon218 The only problem with your theory is... the airplane is unpressurized during landing

  • @babylon218 Explosive Decompression. Just shows how much you know about Air Transport. The cabin is not pressurized during landing nor taking off. Pressurization also has nothing in relation to the speed of the aircraft, it is all about the height it is travelling and the pressure outside of the aircraft. Also, a rock would not damage a plane in such ways that is did leave a gaping hole in it. It would need to be traveling alot faster than standard 180 knots to cause such damage.

  • @MarkMck1994 And it also been demonstrated that making a hole in a pressurized aircraft cabin would not really creates any explosive decompression. It is a tested myth. The pressure diff is not that great. But in a spacecraft, that's different, cause the pressure difference is much higher. That would be dangerous to punch a hole in a shuttle when in space. That's why a soft mantle recovers the external hull of the shuttle to damper hits from outerspace little rocks or space debris of all sort.
