@meginmd They lifted up the bridge behind him, slowly transitioned the background to be darker to make it look like the water was getting deeper, had the actor basically hanging above the stage to make it seem like he was falling, and slowly made him disappear in the darkness.
Does anyone know how they do the Javert-falling-off-the-bridge scene?
It was amazing at the Kennedy Center and I want to know how they did it!
