  • Sounds good but isn't there suppose to be some toxin that comes out of the plastic? If so, what would you suggest for plastic bags?

  • Right on man. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Very cool.

  • Man, I dig your style and delivery... and when hitched together with some interesting demontrations it is really watchable. Thanks for this and I look forward to checking out more of your videos.

  • Howdy! Thanks for this great video. I want to get mobile with the cheaper and easy-to-procure heiney pot--but needed the final keys to the puzzle. This looks like what's going to work for me. Explain what stove you are using, if you would. And detail your potstand and windscreen if you would. Thanks!

  • graet mullit

  • What is that plastic container you are using? Where did you get it, or what was it used for before you used it as a carrying case (assuming that is home built like your stove, and cook pot)

Thats a really good idea that it has a retaining ring, and the lid doubles as a drip coffee maker!

    Excellent video 5*

  • Great video, just one thought- What chemicals are being leached into the food from the plastic bag when exposed to boiling temps?

  • Thanks, that's very kind.

  • wow....love it

  • Fascinating! Thank you for posting this. We're buying a jetboil for our water and going to try what you've shown us here. We plan to dehydrate our own meals to do this. It's pretty amazing the bags tolerate the boiling water. I do have a question for you though. You put your bag into the carry container for your stove. The jetboil does not have one. Any suggestions for me?

  • Anything that insulates will do the trick. Hat, sleeping bag, etc.

Many folks make custom cozies from CCF(closed cell foam)

  • You sound like you're on Kauai with all those roosters crowing sounds in the background.

  • Thanks did this today on a hike with the boys it was great

  • I pack them out when I use them.

  • What do you do with the empty bags, burn or bury them? I'm set in my ways, I still wash up pots
