folks, the fact is that we only have the hard parts, or skeleton, of the site. any wooden frames, or other templates are gone, along with any possible written texts they may have had. the stones do not interlock perfectly,and the measurements are not as precise as you may have been lead to believe.

Then try a series of perfectly cut inside boxes. They must all be exactly the same. Then go from one end to the other making a 3/8 inch trench, it should be perfectly cut. Do all this without writing anything down or measuring anything. (the Imaras had no writing, so no advanced measuring) Let us know how that works out.

Apparently the guy who created the Coral Castle said that he had discovered the secret the ancient Egyptians used for heaving huge stones. Even weirder than that, a book was up for auction about 15 years ago and Mike Patton (yes, of Faith No More) bought it. Inside the book was a letter apparently explaining or mentioning the process the guy used. Anyway, Mike Patton was stopped at an airport in the US after buying the book and had it confiscated! Crazy story,I don't know any more details though

It is true other things besides diamonds can cut Diorite and Granite, but they need either a very high hardness, or a lot of time. The thing about puma punku is some of the small precise holes that are drilled straight through them. Also the size of some of the solid stones is beyond massive, one is 800 tons, that would take like a super craine to move today.

They are fashioned into blocks by chipping away at the stone and as a result are very rough,these however are perfectly smooth and some are said to have edges that are still sharp enough to draw blood. Look at them again,they look like they have been molded or cut by lasers.That's what makes it so puzzling. How about doing a basic google search for some objective thought

@NicoretteMan Of these minerals, quartz is the hardest, at 7 on the Mohs hardness scale. Anything with hardness above 7 can be used to cut it. The most common abrasives used industrially with a hardness greater than 7 are diamond (hardness 10, synthetic or non-gem grade), corundum (hardness 9, usually synthetic sapphire, grit used in tan sandpaper), and silicon carbide (hardness 9.5, always synthetic, the grit on black sandpaper). Puma punku is definitely evidence of an advanced ancient civilization. Probably the most advanced known from this time. What med it possible to make this incredible stone carvings is of course their knowledge of metals. But it would be very surprising if they didn't have a written language. I really hope they will excavate the the area. Hopefully they will find some metal tools at least.

@Jason1975ism Great...go get some chert...and a big peice of diorite and try to plane down an entire side perfectly using your chert chisel and a rock for a hammer. Then try a series of perfectly cut inside boxes. They must all be exactly the same. Then go from one end to the other making a 3/8 inch trench, it should be perfectly cut. Do all this without writing anything down or measuring anything. (the Imaras had no writing, so no advanced measuring) Let us know how that works out.

@Jason1975ism Even if...if it were physically possible for the Imaras to cut the rock, there is no way they could have been capable of the engineering of a complex structure with multiple interlocking stones and certainly not one to the degree of precision seen with many of the stones. This is not something that could be designed "inside someones head" then with no writing or mathmatics, communicate those ideas to the other people who are building the structure and working the stones.
