  • No one will ever surpass Lipati's ability to interpret Chopin's genius, as he was a genius too. These waltzes are timeless. Lipati was indeed an artist of "divine spiritualty".

  • celestial, el vals del adios.

  • im just learning how to play chopin and i love him!!!

  • i play this valse long time ago, and i'm glad to fint it here, his interpretation is sooo good!!

  • My favourite Chopin waltz, and Lipatti plays it beautifully. He was a fantastic performer - it's such a shame he died so young (he died younger than Chopin, in fact - and i'm ever bitter at the world for Chopin's tragically young death; he died horribly and at only 39 years old)

  • he died horribly at only 33 . In september 1950 he played his last recital...in december he died.

    1917-1950.

Best pianist in human history . For me.

  • I meant that Chopin died at age 39. But yeah, Lipatti did die horribly and tragically young too (a form of cancer, wasn't it?) He's one of my favourite pianists too, maybe even my favourite - undecided, either him or his mentor, Alfred Cortot.

  • @incandescentsmile, Leukaemia unfortunately.

  • beautiful song

  • Great performance. Lipatti perfectly understood Chopin´s music
