I said he was underrated as far as lyrics go, not as an artist, you misread. And as a lyricist, he most definitely is. Search " best rap lyricist of all time" and you'll see plenty top 10 or 20 lists with no 2pac on them. Go to any random rap forum and post a topic asking people to name their top 10 lyricist of all time and you'll get the same result. Just pointing that out.

Most of the beats are sampled anyway so that leaves one thing that's really an original evaluation of the artist, and that's the lyrics.  So I don't think he's under rated, he's appreciated for his greatness, as he should be.

If you don't know the difference between an artist and a lyricist I don't know what to tell you. Cannibus is a great lyrist, not that great of an artist if you ask me. Pac is appreciated as a great rapper/artist, but rarely does he get his just due when it comes to his lyrical content. Pac=underrated lyrist Pac as an artist= G.O.A.T.  Very Simple. Underrated maybe not by you or I, but to the hip hop world he is.
