Anyone else feel like the tranquilizer gun ruined MGS? I find it makes enemy encounters far too easy to bypass. I think they should have made the tranq gun effective for only a short while before enemy forces catch on to the ploy. That is to say, tranq too many enemies and soon every one found "napping" raises an immediate alert status.

if the game is saved during the battle with The End, then in the system settings time is changed to be a week ahead, it will state the end has died of old age. then you wont battle him

I remember when I was fighting The End, I didn't have the Thermal Goggles, so I had only one way to get him. I had to aim in his vicinity, guessing where he was based off the map, until I saw the glare of his scope, and I had to line it up perfectly and fire before he noticed me. It was one of the most exciting fights I've ever had in a video game.

@shadowcharizard10 you remember the cave you jump into after the ocelot battle? well you go to the right. when you find the torch, jump down the waterfalls nearby and go into a little slot in the cave wall. and keep going. dont jump down the ledge nearby, just keep going. you have to crawl a little bit to get to it, but its near a hole with water in it. just go around the hole and it should be there.

@matthebrat1228 yeah that works very good, just when you arrive to THE END , save your progress, and then reset your ps2 and change the date one week later or one year later.. when you start again , you will recieve a codec message saying THE END die because is age.. Good Luck !!
