@Hayate2121 I know! We were so mad about the lyrics. We went on three lyrics sites and that's what they said. Guess you can't trust everything you read online. We were retarded and messed up a couple lines.

whatever you did with the key or tone or whatever, i really, really don't like it. it was such a happy/mellow song, and you like killed it and turned it into this really dark, adult, haunting thing. it sounds like...an interpol cover or something, and not in a good way.
other than the main guitar riff being wrong, there were also some wrong lyrics: "hold still" not "but still", and "holding an empty glass" not filling it,
also, she is chewing gum and CHECKING HER PHONE while she's recording.
@Hayate2121 Half of making a good cover is making it your own and bringing something new to it! You have a right to an opinion but not to be mean about someone for trying something new. Judging by their musical skills, they are perfectly aware of how to play the original song!
@TheGreatFantastic11 To me a cover is about doing a song in your own way, but staying true to the original sound, kinda like TPC did with their covers. But granted that was my own opinion and I'm sure other people enjoy the way they changed it.
but what really bothered me was that they put all this effort to record on professional equipment and use all the audio/video effects, but didn't even bother to look up accurate lyrics or tabs. just kinda seemed like they didnt really care about the song.
