ok bud:) with full 100% honesty it was very out of tune. You were not counting. Playing way to many open strings. Your shifting waaaaay to much just use extensions. Lastly, your vibrato is supposed to be the same tempo as the song. Obviously, your vibrato sounds like your wacking off. But hey, I do it too.;) On a positive note, I can hear you really enjoy this song and you were doing dynamics without even realizing it with your bow which is a sign of talent. So my advice to you; PRACTICE EVERYT

I tried to make a more round sound and use my wrist more

I play the cello for myself, for almost 9 and a half year now (I am 17).

I sounds nice,

but you need to work on the flow. You really hear seperated notes and you have to make it all to one.

And turn on the speed! ;) (After 2.45 it is much better, at the higher part.)

How long are you playing? And do you have lessons?

It isn't that good as I wanted it to be because I told a friend of mine that I'm going to play that song and was writing the sheet for like 2 weeks or something around. I didn't want her to wait much longer so I sat down and recorded it without much thinking.

Now I'm playing for 5 years but the video is a bit older. And yes I still have lessons.

I'm going to visit amsterdam in june^^

hey man, u might try making up and accompaniment for River Flows in You. The song to me is just empty when it's played on just one cello or on any single string instrument. It just needs the depth of the piano inmho. Neway, nice job :)

it's 2x a, g with a cross (don't know how it's called in english but it'sthe note between g and a^^) then a,e,a,d, then deeper a and c with cross. It's exactly the melody of the piano sheet's. Hope this helps you
