Hey.. i Felt the same way but i kept at it for a good 4 months everyday and i'm playing note for note to vendetta. "Joey Jordison" it takes practice and patience and once you accomplish that you can acomplish many things! Keep at it and soon you can do this and possibly better.

IDK, I love mike heller fill's and his grooves and overall style probably the best of any death metal drummer but as far as physical skills and blasting I think romain goulon is the best in the world right now. Its to bad he's wasting his inhuman abilities in necrophagist even though they are a sick band!
Had the pleasure of opening for these guys in Toronto. One thing that struck me is how SMALL every drum on his kit is. It sounds fucking great though. Guy's an amazing drummer, and watching them play has inspired my current song writing.
Sick! I had the pleasure in Hamilton. His kit looks awesom, I'm jealous of the trick pedal and am tempted to trade in the axis. Hes an absolute shredder and a super cool dude.

Inhuman grotesqueries so enjoyable. But it takes some spins before you can actually see that it's not a collection of randomly placed technical riffs. The tempo and riff changes are some of the fastest throughout metal. It raises the bar for progressive brutal death metal.
