The song represents Shadow's creeping insanity, slowly eating away at his mind because of his past failure of not saving the only person that he ever truly loved when he could have easily done so.

It represents his anger and hatred for himself.

The distorted tone and melody is his sorrow and self loathing.

Shadow, knowing very well that he could die fighting this monster is trying desperately to hold on to his confidence and composure while trying to help save the world.

This should be Shadow's theme instead of "Throw It All Away" in my opinion. I'm also going to get Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and a GameCube. This is like the best Sonic game ever aside Sonic Next gen and Sonic Heroes.

Plus, the so called "Biolizard's Theme" seems a helluva lot more like Shadow's situation at the time of the boss fight, I doubt a giant biomechanical lizard would need support...

This is the only game that Shadow is cool in. His spin-off game and sonic heroes make shadow look lame and crappy. Even in the character design, he looks the coolest in SA:2 and things go downhill from there.

This game will always be special to me as the last GOOD sonic game.
